La première de ces formes d'exécution comporte une épingle a dont la tête<B>b</B> a la forme d'un triangle formé par le repliement d'une partie de la tige a. Cette tête<B>b</B> est en veloppée -dans une feuille de métal mince c. Sur la droite de la fig. <B>1,</B> cet enveloppement est fait, tandis que sur la gauche -de la figure cette feuille de métal mince est étalée afin qu'on voie sa forme.
L'enveloppement de<B>l'é-</B> pingle s'opère après que l'on a introduit, en tre sa tête et la feuille de métal les ileux bouts d'un ruban<B>d.</B> Lors-que la feuille c a soli extrémité e rabat-tue, comme il est montré en fig. 2, et que les deux coins de ladite feuille de métal sont repliés sur la tête de l'épingle, le ruban et par suite la médaille<B>f</B> est tenu solidement. La partie. eile la feuille de métal mince qui, après avoir été repliée, est visible sur<B>le</B> ruban, lorsqu'on regarde le revers<B>de</B> la médaille, est garnie d'une bordure ou d'un décor de ce genre.
Dans la forme d'exécution qui est montrée aux fig. <B>3</B> et 4, il n'y a pas de médaille. La partie -de métal mince e qui est rabattue sur le ruban<B>b</B> porte un motif en relief qui n'est pas représenté, si bien que cette partie e forme elle-même la plaque -décorative. La partie de feuille de métal mince dans laquelle est enveloppée l'épingle est donc ici venue ,d'une seule pièce avec la plaque décorative. Le ruban<B>d</B> est<B>à</B> bout simple.
