Description
Verfahren zur vergällung von Weingeist. Ein gutes Vergällungsmittel muss bekannt lich die Eigenschaft besitzen, dass es auch in kleinen Zusatzmengen Geruch und Geschmack des Weingeistes so verdirbt, dass letzterer nicht mehr als Genussmittel dienen kann, und das Vergällungsmittel soll so beschaffen sein, dass es nur durch derart verwickelte chemische und physikalische Verfahren aus dem Wein geist wieder entfernt werden kann, dass solche Verfahren sich wirtschaftlich von selbst ver bieten.
Die Erfindung betrifft nun ein neues Ver fahren zur Vergällung von Weingeist, insofern solcher für gewerbliche Zwecke und als Motor Spiritus verwendet werden soll, und besteht darin, dass man zum Weingeist eine kleine Menge von leichten -Ölen zusetzt, die durch Rektifizierung des, durch Destillation der Ichthyolschiefer gewonnenen Rohöls erzielt werden.
Diese leichten Öle weisen einen hohen Gehalt an in Alkohol leicht löslichen Stoffen auf, und welchen sich auch einige organische Schwefelverbindungen befinden, die demWein- geist, ohne ihm schädlich zu werden, einen sehr widerlichen Geruch und Geschmack verleihen, der weder durch Destillation, noch Reinigung, noch chemische Behandlung voll ständig beseitigt werden kann.
