Device for emptying packaging cartridges for ointments, pastes, medicaments ETC. In many fields a very simple and easy-to-use device is desired for emptying packaging cartridges for ointments, pastes, medicaments, etc. as completely as possible To meet wishes is the purpose of the invention, the object of which is a device for emptying packing cartridges which consist of two hoods facing each other with the base, at least one of which is made of flexible material.
The essence of the device is that it has a pressure element that is determined to roll the flexible hood into the other until it is completely undressed by pressing the packaging cartridge, for the purpose of completely emptying the cartridge.
Several embodiments of the device according to the invention are shown on the drawing for example.
1 shows an embodiment example of the device in longitudinal section with a spherical packaging cartridge before pressing and FIG. 2 shows the same device after pressing; FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the device with a double-cone packaging cartridge and FIG. 4 shows this cartridge after pressing; Fig. 5 shows the device together with the cartridge in a further embodiment.
In the implementation shown in Fig. 1 and 2 from a spherical, so one consisting of two hemispherical hoods Ver packaging cartridge 7 is inserted into a hollow cylinder 1, whereupon the ram is inserted into the cylinder and the cover 3 is screwed in place on the cylinder 1 has been.
The plunger consists of the guide piston 4 and the part 11 that comes into effect during the extrusion process, which is smaller by the two wall thicknesses of the pack cartridge halves that are rolled into each other than the inside of the press cylinder part that holds the pack cartridge and that is in the lid 3 leading spindle 5, a compression spring and the knob 6. The packaging cartridge 7, which can be closed in a known manner by the pin 10 with the head 9, for example, made of tin foil of the same wall thickness everywhere.
In order to squeeze out the paste you press, attacking the knob 6, the pressure element 11 against the packaging cartridge 7, whereby the paste is pushed out through the extension tube 8 until the half of the cartridge lying on the pressure element 11 until it is completely in contact with the hollow cylinder 1 adjacent half of the cartridge is pressed down, that is, is carded into the latter. In this way the cartridge is emptied down to the last residue of the paste.
This complete emptying is also achieved in the form of the cartridge shown in FIG. 3, in which there are two cones which are in contact with their base. The cone 13 having the outlet stub 12 rests against the bottom of the lower part 14 of a press cylinder which is made up of this lower part 14 and an upper part 15 releasably connected to it by a bayonet lock. Part 1.6, which consists of tinfoil of the same wall thickness, is designed with the same taper ratio as part 13.
If the cartridge 13, 16 has been inserted into the lower part 14 and then the upper part 1.5 attached and fastened by means of the bayonet connection, the paste is pressed with the outlet nozzle 12 open by pressing down the punch 17 at 12 off, the punch 17 being guided by means of the cap 18 on the upper housing part 15. In doing so, the part 16 of the cartridge is finally pressed into the part 13 up to the position shown in FIG. 4, so that the parts 16 and 13 lie close to one another and thus all the paste is pressed out.
This is particularly successful if the lower part 13 is made one wall thicker than the part 16.
flat can give the lower half of the cartridge greater resistance than the other half that is intended to be rolled into this half, namely through greater wall thickness or through manufacture from a solid material.
Such a cartridge is shown in Fig. 5 Darge provides. The half of the spherical cartridge 19 carrying the outlet nozzle 20 is made of metal, for example tin, greater wall thickness than the other half and is provided with two holders 21. The pressure element of the device consists of a push button 22 provided with a finger ring 23.
If you place this cartridge after cutting off the closed end of the nozzle 20, through whose fine channel nothing full of the filling escapes, with the two holders 21 on the index and middle fingers and press the push button 22 attached by means of the ring 23 on the thumb of the same hand the cartridge, it can be completely emptied, that is, until its two halves are completely folded together.
In addition to tinfoil, the packaging cartridge can also consist of gelatine or paraffinized paper, for example.
