Contact device for power transmission. In the previously known control devices for power transmission, the contacts themselves are usually designed as resilient parts. This has the disadvantage that the contact organs lose their spring force when they are heated and so contact insecurities result when the resilient contacts are paralyzed.
The present invention relates to a contact device for power transmission, in which the above-mentioned deficiency is to be eliminated in that contact carriers made of insulating material, arranged in pairs, are connected to one another opposite and remaining in opposition, rigid contacts are provided, are pressed against each other under the action of a spring not serving to conduct electricity, and that between them a rotatable body is provided, when the corresponding contacts are turned into and out of conductive connection with each other .
The subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing in two different exemplary embodiments, and it shows: FIG. 1 is a side view of the first exemplary embodiment with partial sections, FIG. a partial longitudinal section along the line Q1- <1 of Fig. 1, Figs. 3 to 8 show sections along the lines B-B, C-C etc.
of Fig. 2; FIG. 9 shows a side view of the second exemplary embodiment with partial sections, FIG. 10 shows a section along the line H-H and FIG. 11 shows a section along the line I-I in FIG. 9.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 8, a contact device for four power lines and three power circuits, the cover 1 of the housing attached to the foot 2 is by means of the guide rods 4, 4 ', 4 ", which carry external threads and are made of electrically conductive material. , 4 'is connected to the housing base 5. The foot 2, the housing and the cover 1 are made from insulating material.
The device has pairs of opposite contact carriers 6, 7 made of non-conductive material; 6 ', 7' and 6 ", 7" on. The contact carriers 6, 6, 6 "are fixed by means of nuts 8 on the guide rods 4, 4, 4" and 4 "', while the contact carriers 7, T, 7" are parallel to themselves on the guide rods and by means of the Power line not the nenden spring 9 respectively against the contact carrier 6. 6 ', 6 "are pressed. The contact carriers carry contacts 1.0, 10', 11, 11 ', 12, 12' and 13, 13 'arranged in pairs on the same axis, the head parts of which are each directed against one another and over the contact carrier stand.
The contacts 10 are in conductive connection with the guide rod 4 by means of a respective lamella 14, while the contact 11 is in a similar manner with the guide rod 4 ', the contact 12 with the guide rod 4 "and the contact 13 with the guide The contacts arranged on the contact carriers 7 or 7 'and 7 "are each in a conductive connection with one another by means of bridges 15.
Disc-like rotating bodies made of insulation material are provided between the contact carriers arranged in pairs opposite. These are mounted on the square cross-section rod 16, which the latter leads through non-touching holes of the contact carrier through. The rotating body 17 are provided with the contacts correspondingly arranged from breaks 18, the opposing edges are seen with sharpening ver to allow the insertion of the rotating body between the contacts and the lifting of the same. The rod 16 is connected to the switch button 19. 20 are used to connect the lines.
In Figs. 1 to 8, the device is with the power lines turned off Darge provides. If the switch button 19 rotates an eighth of a turn in the counterclockwise direction, the breakouts 18 of the rotating body provided between the contact carriers 6 and 7 lie between the opposing contacts 10, 10 'and 11, 11'.
This enables the contact carrier 7 to move closer to the contact carrier 6 under the action of the spring 9, namely as far as to see the contact parts 10, 1.0 'respectively. 11, 11 'touch, whereby the circuit between the guide rod 4 and the guide rod 4' is closed without the two other circuits, on the one hand between the guide rod 4 and the guide rod 4 ", on the other hand between the guide rod 4 and the guide rod 4 "'are closed in that the two other rotating bodies 17 keep the contacts of the other contact carriers away from each other.
By correspondingly turning the switch button 19, one or the other of the two other lines can be switched on in a similar manner, with the connection of the other two lines.
The contacts and the breakouts could also be arranged in other mutual positions, for example so that all three lines can be switched on and interrupted at the same time, or that, for example, a quarter turn of the switch button to the right causes a power line and a further quarter turn in the same sense the remaining power lines are switched on.
In the second embodiment according to FIGS. 9 to 11, the housing 22 connected at the top by the cover 21 is open at the bottom with a bead 23 serving for fastening. Of the contact carriers 24, 25 and 24 ', 25' provided in pairs, the contact carriers 24, 24 'are immovably held on the thread-bearing guide rods 26 by means of nuts 27, while the contact carriers 25, 25' are slidable in the longitudinal direction of the guide rods and are pressed by the springs 28 against the contact carriers 2.1, 24 '.
The riveted guide rods serve to conduct electricity. Rather, the contacts 29, which are directed towards one another with their heads and which carry means for receiving line ends, serve to conduct electricity. The rotating bodies 31, which are fitted with a square cross-section and which carry the switch button 33, are provided with guide parts 32, and these are arranged opposite the contacts 29 so that when the switch button 33 is rotated they are between the heads of the contacts 29 arrive, whereby the conductive connection between the contacts 29 is established.
The above-described and illustrated embodiments of the contact device also make it possible to switch currents of different voltages or different tariffs individually or together by means of one and the same switching device. For example, in the second embodiment according to FIGS. 9 to 11, the current that can be switched by the rotating body 31 could serve as lighting current and the current that can be switched on and off by the rotating body 32 would serve as heating current, and both currents could be different in voltage and tariff.
It is also provided that only the outermost contact carriers 6 "or 24 'are firmly clamped on the guide rods, while the remaining contact carriers are held in pairs by the springs between them at the desired distance from one another. By the illustrated and described con Clock devices is achieved over those with resilient, overlapping con tact organs, the advantage that the spark formation is significantly reduced and a heating of the contacts does not occur.
