I>A, B</I> unmöglich.
I>A, B</I> hinübergedrückt.

Device for generating cold according to the absorption principle. The invention relates to a device for intermittent cold generation according to the absorption principle. This exists. be known in the fact that a cold liquid (for example aqueous ammonia solution) is boiled for a period of time and the refrigerant, namely the ammonia for example, is expelled from it and liquefied in a downstream part; During a da.rauffollichen time section, the remaining absorption liquid during boiling, e.g.
B. the water, cooled, so that the pressure in the associated container drops more or less and the liquefied refrigerant evaporates while absorbing heat from the external environment, the vapors formed being sucked back and absorbed by the absorption liquid. The absorption is expediently carried out in such a way that the vaporous refrigerant enters the liquid in the container at the lowest possible point and rises in the liquid, where it is absorbed. All air is expediently removed from the apparatus as far as possible.
The cooking respectively. The absorption period can be initiated manually or automatically by actuating the corresponding organs.
The present invention consists in that at least one main container acting as a cooker and absorber is connected indirectly via a flow-through container which contains a liquid and acts as a control boiler to the downstream part of the Kälteerzeu- gungseiniichtung and the liquid in the flow-through container during the boiling period has a different level than during the absorption period, such that at one level the liquid in the I)

<tb> s <SEP> curl-shaped <SEP> insert <SEP> G <SEP> ends. <B> k </B>; is a pipe in use G, which is flowed through by a coolant (grass, liquid) during the absorption period.
The vapor space P of the flow-through container C is connected to the downstream parts (condenser, evaporator) at m5 - lent a high point by a line L.
Finally, a Z'G'ürmesehutzmantel H is expediently provided, which collects the rising gases of the flame to the ear (@n))) 1,))) \, around the control boiler C lieruin.eftilirt and through Drain pipe 1 can flow off.
The two main containers A, B are almost completely filled with the cold fluid at the beginning of the cloclic period. while the throughflow container C is only about, preferably oleiclifall, filled with four cold liquid.
The 'mode of action' during the cooking period (austrcil) ung) is as follows (Fig. 1): Durob T'rliiizen, the two IZescl _1.
B mean: the one in the tubes 9)) 1. ))) - allocated Brenüsloffcs, the refrigerant (ammonia) is driven out of the absorption liquid (water). This collects sie ba.sförmib in the highest room) z the boiler Ä,
B and by his overflow displaces the liquid from the boilers. 1, B through the pipeline s into the control boiler (flow-through container) C until the liquid level is pressed under the pipe mouths o.
As soon as these pipe mouths are exposed, the gaseous refrigerant flows d1, dl, d ;, d? in .den indicated arrow directions to the control vessel C and enters the insert G from below. The insert G fills with gases until the liquid that was in it has been completely displaced outwards into the container C.
The gases then bubble up through the external liquid into the gas space P of the control boiler C and from there through the pipeline L into the downstream part (condenser and evaporator). During this process, a column of liquid is constantly accumulated in the roller duct, which balances the difference between the pressures in the downstream part and in the steam rooms.
This prevents any further expansion of liquid from the containers A, B into the boiler C after the flow has been initiated.
The hood H forces the combustion gases to wash around the control boiler C and also to heat it. This heating is intensified by the warmth of the gases coming from the containers A, B, which flow through the control boiler C. This ensures that most of the refrigerant (ammonia) is expelled from the liquid in the control vessel C.
The mode of action during the cooling period (absorption) is as follows (FIG. 22). The heating source is switched off and a coolant is routed through the cooling pipes lzl to k7.
As the ammonia-free solution (absorption liquid) cools down in the main boilers _I, B, the pressure in them decreases and falls below the pressure in the evaporator.
The refrigerant gases emitted from the evaporator as a result of this. obtained overpressure through the pipeline L in the direction of the arrow into the control vessel C and displace the liquid from this into the insert G, but also into the pitot tubes d., that is, into the control vessel C. merge at its deepest point. Liquid is pressed into these tubes until a column of liquid is built up,
which keeps the difference between the pressures in the downstream part and in the gas compartments of the Hauptbehäl ter. This makes it impossible for gases to flow directly into the main boiler <I> A, B </I>.
If the bell G is unable to hold the liquid, the excess is pressed through the pipe s into the main boiler <I> A, B </I>. The gases now enter the insert G in the direction of the arrow, through which the liquid contained therein flows, which consequently absorbs a correspondingly small portion of the refrigerant (ammonia). The gases mainly enter the main boilers A, B at their lowest point through the pipes s and are thus forced to flow through the absorption liquid in the main boilers A, B on the way to the rooms n so that they are completely absorbed.
It can be seen that the tube is used during the cooking period. During the cooling period, the pipes d. =, d #, as pitot tubes and the liquid that has accumulated in them, as a liquid, which have the same effect as mechanical valves. In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3, -1, parts with the same effect are identified identically as in FIGS. 1. 2.
The main container A, which acts as a cooker and absorber, contains the control boiler C, which acts as a throughflow container and which in turn contains an insert G. From the steam space p, of the container <I> A </I>, a wide pipe cl leads upwards and is connected to the line d .; connected, die. bei m. opens into the container C at its lowest point. An extension q is expediently provided there so that the mouth -m is always immersed in liquid even when the apparatus is inclined.
The insert G goes: in a tubular dome d; above, in which the pipelines s, d .; are located, of which the line s to the deepest part of the liquid space of the container: 1 leads. A pipe r leads from the control boiler C through the boiler .I to the outside to the downstream parts (condenser, evaporator). The tubes 7c ,, k2, k; are cooling tubes through which a coolant flows during the absorption period.
In the tubes h ,, 7t.2 in the main tank A electric heating elements can be installed, which serve as a heat source during the Koeliperiode. \ Of course, other heating sources can also be used for heating. for example by gas flames from the outside or by the fact that through the pipes k1 to lc, during the cooking

If, in the opposite case, the control vessel C should be overfilled with liquid due to any circumstance, during the first cooling period (Fig. 4) only as much liquid will remain in the control vessel C as there is space in the chamber G. The liquid located in the control boiler C is also made usable for the cooling capacity, because this boiler is arranged in the interior of the boiler A and is heated and / or heated by it. is cooled.
