Pendoir. On emploie, dans les ménages et dans les industries où l'on se sert de brosses, pin ceaux et autres ustensiles d'usage courant ayant un manche ou une partié longue et lisse, des dispositifs de suspension dans les quels il est en général prévu deux chevilles en bois ou en métal sur lesquelles on fait reposer les objets en question parleur partie la plus large. Les balais, pinceaux, etc., sont donc pendus la tête en l'air et prennent énormément de place puisque les parties larges des objets en question .viennent toutes les unes à côté des autres.
Dans un autre ordre d'idées, lorsque l'on a à faire à des balais ou à des pinceaux, plumeaux ou brosses, en général à des objets comportant des soies ou crins, cette position de sus pension nuit à ces derniers qui finissent par prendre une forme très défavorable à leur emploi rationnel.
L'objet de la présente invention est un pendoir qui se distingue des dispositifs pré cités du fait qu'il permet de suspendre des objets comportant au moins une partie longue et lisse par cette partie même sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'y percer des trous ou de la munir d'accessoires tels que pitons, clous, crochets, etc., qui gênent le maniement de l'outil. Le pendoir en question comporte à cet effet au moins un anneau, suspendu lui- même de manière à pouvoir être écarté de la verticale et dans lequel l'objet à suspendre est introduit. Sous l'influence du poids de ce dernier, l'anneau a la. tendance à reprendre sa position première et à empêcher l'objet de glisser.
Il est représenté, à titre d'exemple, au dessin ci-annexé, plusieurs formes d'exécution du pendoir selon l'invention.
La fig. 1 montre l'emploi d'une première forme d'exécution avec différentes brosses, le pendoir étant fixé à une paroi. La fig. 2 en est une vue de côté. La fig. 3 est une vue à plus grande échelle de détails de cette première forme d'exécution. La fig. 4 est une vue de côté de cette même forme. La fig. 4 montre cette dernière depuis devant. Les fig. 5 et 6 montrent une deuxième et la fig. 7 une troisième forme d'exécution.
Le pendoir de fig. 1 à 4 se compose d'un fer cornière 1 percé d'un certain nombre de trous dans chacun desquels passe une boucle 2 soutenant un anneau 3. Ce dernier est carré. Il est soutenu par l'un de ses angles et pend verticalement, comme il est montré en fig. 3, parallèlement à la paroi à laquelle le fer cornière est fixé.
Quand on veut suspendre un objet, un balai par exemple; on en introduit le manche dans l'anneau carré et laisse retomber le tout. Cet anneau se met alors automatique ment en biais relativement à l'axe du balai et, lorsqu'on laisse retomber ce dernier, son poids tend à mettre l'anneau dans la ver ticale et celui-ci pince le manche avec une force directement proportionnelle au poids de l'objet suspendu. On peut régler la hau teur de suspension de l'objet à volonté.
Les fig. 5 et 6 représentent un pendoir du même genre, mais pouvant se fixer isolé ment à la paroi au moyen d'un support 4 de forme triangulaire et recoui bé que l'on a sorti par découpage de l'intérieur de l'an neau 5. Ce dernier est également triangulaire et muni à l'intérieur d'un certain nombre de dents qui s'opposent à Lit) glissement fortuit du manche de l'objet qu'on veut suspendre.
La fig. 7 donne une troisième forme d'exécution d'un anneau de suspension 6; celui-ci est rond et les dents qu'il comporte à son intérieur sont également là pour éviter toits glissements. II est clair que l'anneau employé pour rait dans certains cas être ouvert.

The object of the present invention is a hanger which differs from the aforementioned devices owing to the fact that it makes it possible to suspend objects comprising at least one long and smooth part by this part itself without it being necessary to drill holes therein. holes or equip it with accessories such as eyebolts, nails, hooks, etc., which interfere with the handling of the tool. The hanger in question comprises for this purpose at least one ring, itself suspended so as to be able to be moved away from the vertical and into which the object to be hung is introduced. Under the influence of the weight of the latter, the ring has the. tendency to resume its original position and prevent the object from sliding.
There is shown, by way of example, in the accompanying drawing, several embodiments of the hanger according to the invention.
Fig. 1 shows the use of a first embodiment with different brushes, the hanger being fixed to a wall. Fig. 2 is a side view. Fig. 3 is a view on a larger scale of details of this first embodiment. Fig. 4 is a side view of this same shape. Fig. 4 shows the latter from the front. Figs. 5 and 6 show a second and FIG. 7 a third embodiment.
The hanger of fig. 1 to 4 consists of an angle iron 1 pierced with a number of holes in each of which passes a loop 2 supporting a ring 3. The latter is square. It is supported by one of its angles and hangs vertically, as shown in fig. 3, parallel to the wall to which the angle iron is attached.
When you want to hang an object, a broom for example; we introduce the handle into the square ring and let the whole fall. This ring is then automatically placed at an angle relative to the axis of the brush and, when the latter is allowed to fall, its weight tends to put the ring in the vertical and the latter clamps the handle with a force directly proportional. the weight of the suspended object. The suspension height of the object can be adjusted at will.
Figs. 5 and 6 represent a hanger of the same type, but which can be attached to the wall in isolation by means of a support 4 of triangular shape and recoui bé which has been taken out by cutting from the inside of the ring 5 The latter is also triangular and provided inside with a certain number of teeth which oppose the fortuitous sliding of the handle of the object which one wishes to suspend.
Fig. 7 gives a third embodiment of a suspension ring 6; it is round and the teeth that it has inside are also there to prevent roofs slipping. It is clear that the ring employed could in certain cases be opened.
