Device to facilitate the adjustment of the pulling force in electric motors for connection to various types of power supply. . Electric motors, which are connected to various mains voltages or types of current, are usually provided with a series resistor or windings with spikes in order to be able to regulate the motor.
The layman and often also the specialist are unable to adjust the engine to the correct pulling force required. In order to facilitate this, the present invention consists essentially in that a pointer device which works together with a marker and is under spring action is actuated in such a way that the pointer coincides with the marker when the motor pulls correctly.
The subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing, for example. Fig. 1 is partly a view, partly a section through an embodiment of the device according to the invention; 2 is also partially a view, partially a section through a second embodiment of this device.
The embodiment of FIG. 1 is based on the fact that in electric motors the maximum torque and the strength of the magnetic fields depend on the voltage and type of current applied to the motor. are dependent that one can say. that if the strength of the fields is set by means of a device, this is decisive for the maximum torque within permissible limits.
In Fig. 1, the bore 1 of a pole 2 is used. The marking consists of a stationary, but possibly adjustable ble tongue 3, and the pointer lever 4 is rotatably mounted at 5. At (i, the lever 4 is connected in an articulated manner to an iron core 7, which in turn can be displaced in the bore 1 and is protected against seizure by an insulating tube 8.
In addition, the lever 4 is under the action of a spring 9, which counteracts the inward movement of the iron core 7 and whose tension can be set, for example, by a regulating screw 10 so that a certain force is required to move the pointer, that means pulling the iron core i into the pole and against the rotor. The ends of the -t lever are limited by stops and 23.
The electric motor is adjusted to the correct tensile force at the given number of revolutions and the spring 9 is tensioned accordingly so that the lever d coincides with the marking. If the motor is now switched to different voltages.
be it by means of a ballast resistor or some other precaution - the layman has to operate this regulation lcdigli.eli in such a way that he adjusts it until the pointer coincides with the marking, the machine l, ezw. the motor is then set correctly.
The embodiment according to FIG. 1 is a special case of an electric motor used to drive a speech or similar apparatus. In this case, too, the supply line could be carried out as described above.
In the special case of FIG. 2, however, the centrifugal force located on each drive is made usable for actuating the pointer lever J which is rotatable at 5.
The shaft 11 of the Flielihraftreglers is driven in a known manner by a steep worm 12 from a on the turntable axis 14 fastened th tendon gear 15, and depending on the deflection of the weight 1 attached to the springs 16? the sleeve 19 equipped with the brake disc 18 is moved on the shaft 11.
The pointer lever is also under the action of a spring 9 which, for example, can be adjusted by means of the regulating screw 10 and strives to stop braking means 20, for example made of felt, which are attached to the end of the pointer lever J to press the brake disc 18.
The whole is constructed in such a way that at normal speed of rotation of the controller the brake piece 20 is still free due to the viewing position 21 against which the pointer lever 4 is pressed by the spring 9, and the measurement and adjustment are performed a speed of rotation about 10% higher than the normal one.
If the layman gets his hands on the machine, he only has to regulate the machine by using the series resistor or some other device. that the pointer -1 coincides with the indentation, which means that the motor is set correctly to the required pulling force.
