Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention. Fig. 1 représente la vue en élévation et en coupe de l'appareil prêt pour la prise de vues; Fig. 2 représente la coupe par la ligne A-A de la fig. 1; Fig. 3 représente la vue en élévation de l'appareil prêt pour la projection ; Fig. 4 représente la vue en élévation de l'appareil prêt pour le tirage; Fig.5 représente la vue extérieure de l'appareil en perspective; Fig. 6 représente un détail en élévation de la fig. 5 ;
Cinematographic camera. The object of the invention is a photo-cinematographic camera making it possible to take pictures and the projection of still or moving pictures as well as the printing of positives of these views and comprising: a box in two parts fitting together one in the other and presenting a double bottom; a one-piece housing fixed inside this box and enclosing the lens, the members used for transporting and framing the film and the shutter; a group of components mounted outside the box comprising:
a viewfinder formed by a rectangular frame containing means for determining the focal axis, a photometer making it possible to establish the aperture of the diaphragm by adding coefficients characterizing the elements of the subject's illuminations and a translucent focusing scale visible from the rear of the camera, this scale delimiting the limit planes of depth of field; a housing available inside the box to accommodate at will either a pair of film magazines when shooting, or the lantern for projection during projection.
The drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention. Fig. 1 shows the elevation and sectional view of the camera ready for shooting; Fig. 2 shows the section through line A-A of FIG. 1; Fig. 3 shows the elevational view of the apparatus ready for projection; Fig. 4 shows the elevational view of the apparatus ready for drawing; Fig.5 shows the external view of the device in perspective; Fig. 6 shows an elevational detail of FIG. 5;
Fig. 7 shows a detail in perspective of FIG. 5; Fig. 8 shows a detail in perspective of FIG. 1.
Figs. 1 and 2 show the two boxes, one outer 1 and the other inner 2 which fit into each other forming a free space 3 containing the gears and other members of the mechanism. The one-piece sigma-shaped casing 4, reminiscent of the path that the film must describe, carries compartments in which are housed respectively: the upper debtor 5, the objective 6, the shutter 7, the removable drive claw 8 and the lower debtor 9.
The upper 10 and lower 11 tabs and the apron 50 apply the rope against the debtors 5 and 9 and the exposure window 12. In the space 13, two magazines 14 and 15 containing the film are housed, when the film is taken. turns. The film leaves the upper magazine 14, is driven by the debtor 5, forms a first loop 16 in the housing at the corner of the casing, passes in front of the exposure window 12, is driven jerkily by the claw 8, form a second loop 17 and passes over the debtor 9, after which it enters the lower store 15 through its slot, and it is wound on a shaft 18 driven by friction by the general mechanism.
The jerk of the film is driven by means of the claw 8 pivoting and sliding at 19 and controlled by a triangular cam 20 rotating in the square of the claw (FIG. 1).
Fig. 3 shows the device ready for projection. The magazines are replaced by a box-lantern 21 containing a condenser 22 and a projection lamp 23. The film to be projected is supported by a salt lette 24 fixed above the apparatus; through a slot 25 it enters the interior, follows the same path as described above and after its exit from the apparatus through the slot 26 is wound up on another harness 27 whose axis receives a rotary movement of the mechanism generally through a belt 28 which connects the pulleys integral with the axis of the fifth wheel 29 and the mechanism 30.
Fig. 4 shows the apparatus arranged for making copies. The lantern 21 is fixed in front of the camera on a suitable base 31 .. The negative filtra 32 follows the path of the cable as during projection and the blank film 33 which will become the positive follows the path of the film as if it it was a shooting. The light enters through the lens hole, passes through the negative and impresses the positive.
Fig. 5 shows the apparatus seen from the outside; the box has a crank 34 on its right and behind you can see the window of the counter 35 indicating the number of meters of wire passed, on the left, the sight which is composed of a frame 36 carrying a cross formed by two surfaces 37 and 38 perpendicular to each other and to the so-called viewfinder frame. The cross fixes the axial position of the eye when aiming.
The transparent focusing scale 39 makes it possible to carry out the focusing from the rear, the lever of the objective 40 passing in front and allowing, thanks to its index, visible through the transparent scale, to see how far the lens is set. This scale has a double row of numbers indicating for all distances the limits of sharpness of the image.
Fig.6 shows the cine-photometer which is composed of a rectangular plate 41 carrying three other round plates 42, 43 and 44. Each of them is divided into four compartments; each of the four compartments carrying four groups of subjects, four sky states, four groups of months and four groups of hours. In front of each group is a number representing the coefficient of luminosity. The coefficients corresponding to the subject of the film, the state of the sky, the month and the hour are added together to obtain the figure corresponding to the scale of the diaphragm to be used in the present case.
Fig. 7 shows the crank 45 which can be reduced at rest, its hook 46 being removed, the handle 47 enters the housing of the box and the hook comes to fall back on it.
Fig. 8 shows the shutter 48, the axis of which exceeds the box and bears a mark 49, which makes it possible to determine the position of the shutter at any time.
