Refrigerant group. The present invention relates to a refrigerant group.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment.
Fig. 1 is a vertical section of the compressor; Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section thereof; The fg. 3 is a plan, part in horizontal section; The iig. 4 relates to a detail; Fig. 5 shows in section the autoregulator (the refrigerant.
The machine shown has, at its lower part, a compressor. This comprises a rotor a eccentric with respect to the axis of itself) cylindrical stator b and in contact with the interior thereof.
This rotor has, according to generators, grooves a 'in which recessed pallets c can move towards the internal wall of the cylinder b where they are kept constantly applied and which are supported on the other hand on side cheeks d so as to constitute a perfectly sealed assembly. This rotor a is provided with two journals a2 rotating on ball bearings e mounted eccentrically in the cylinder b on. crowns f of the same outside diameter @ as the bore of the cylinder and adjusted in the latter with friction, then held in place by pins allowing their adjustment.
This mounting device has the advantage of being able to achieve automatically, with precision, the parallelism of the axes of the rotor and of the stator and to make the bottoms, g of the cylinder completely independent of the moving parts, so as to be able to vary the clearance between these latter.
The rotor a is applied, without appreciable play, in a recess b1 formed concentrically to its axis in the wall of the cylinder and into which it penetrates so as to be in contact over about one sixth of its circumference in order to ensure a large contact surface common to both parties.
The longitudinal grooves a 'made in the rotor are inclined. 3 to 4 on the spokes in front of the direction of rotation and they communicate through their interior part with the pressurized oil tank h established above, by means of two channels i which also ensure the lubrication of the other components.
The pallets c, recessed with gentle friction in said grooves a1, are constituted by a united series of steel strips rounded at their outer and lateral ends.
These lamellae can move in their housings, independently of each other, towards the internal wall of cylinder b against which they are held par- taminently applied by the combined effects of centrifugal force and oil pressure acting on their face. earlier.
This arrangement has the advantage of constituting elements ensuring permanent contact of their entire section with the casing and providing a tight seal between the suction cavities b- and discharge V.
The sealing of this part of the vanes is completed in an absolute manner by the effect of the pressurized oil which is filled in the spaces located between the rounded end of each blade and the wall of the cylinder.
It is also necessary to ensure a perfect seal laterally (the vanes c and to automatically compensate for the effects of expansion or contraction of these components thus due to the slight wear that may occur.
This is done by means of the cl cheeks comprising two compensators which can move in friction in the body of the cylinder and this in such a way as to be kept constantly pressed on the faces of the pallets by the 'effect of oil pressure and small coil springs j arranged in housings in the rings f supporting the ball bearings e.
In anticipation of wear of the blades, the length of the latter is expected to be very slightly greater than that of the rotor. The seal between the cheeks d and the rotor is obtained by inserting on each of the faces of the rotor a three segments these adjusted between the vanes and pushed against the compensators d by springs with sausage la (fig. 9 and 4).
Finally, the seal between the rotor a and the wall of the cylinder L, on which it is applied, is carried out by means of a liquid seal formed by a layer of oil arriving on the rotor passing through a series of small orifices U ': This oil under pressure, by virtue of its viscosity and thanks to the pressure difference existing between the discharge cavities:
eirt and suction, is interposed between the working surfaces, fills the harmful spaces and gives a perfect seal as well as an abundant lubrication to the rotor.
The tightness of the shaft a 'of the rotor is ensured by the hub of a wear compensated shutter, consisting of a case-hardened steel bush 1 terminated on the outer side by a bulge having a united senii-splieric part and to. the interior of which is a housing intended to receive a key of entrainenieut ii? attached to the shaft c '.
This bush 1. perfectly adjusted and rectified to the diameter of the shaft cc 'on which it can move, is' kept pressed by means of a spring. coil ii on a stop o applied by a cap 1) on a fiber gasket placed at the bottom of the casing in order to ensure a perfect seal on all sides.
This stopper is formed from a self-lubricating alloy composed of graphite agglomerated, by compression, with red copper and antimony. This alloy, which can resist excessive wear and tear to dynamic and mechanical stresses, completely eliminates the lubrication of the working parts,
which presents an acorn advantage expected that it is difficult to ensure a good lubrication to the packing glands of the machines when they turn at very high speeds.
The cylinder b has at its periphery two orifices b # 1 b \ ', arranged 180 "to each other, one b5 serving for suction and the other b for repression.
In order (to prevent the gaseous mass from being forced back through the liquid column covering cylinder b, the exhaust port V opens into a cylindrical chamber b 'closed by a bottom bs held by two bolts and surmounted by a central tube q which conveys the mixed oil gases to the upper part of the separator.
This separator consists of a titi cylindrical body r fixed inside a bell s connected to the casing by a tight seal and in which the entrained oil separates from the gas stream flowing towards the liquefactor via the pipe t following the circuit indicated by the arrows in fig. 1.
In order to prevent the bulk of the gas mass from entering the cylinder b during the very short moment when the exhaust port b is in communication with the volume of gas to be compressed at the start of the period compression of a pallet, which would determine titi lowering of the mechanical output of the machine, this orifice is fitted with an extra fast closing shutter consisting of a very thin plate of tic steel mounted star. maintained titi by means of a bolt.
This shutter being of very low mass and receiving a very large pressure force, inertia plays an almost nil role, which makes it possible to obtain extremely rapid opening and closing times.
The orifices Ls are intended to allow the evacuation of the small volume of gas which is trapped between the wall of the cylinder and the rotor at the end of the compression produced by one of the vanes, that is to say after the passage of the latter in front of the exhaust port b \ '.
The assembly described above forms a body with a cylindrical shell v forming a frame and support for the liquefier.
An i, bi linil tank surrounds cylinder b. A stream of water cools the oil circulating in the machine and combats the heating of the cylinder wall.
The entire compressor is completed by a filter with a large surface, made up of a circular perforated plate x, in brass, covered with a wire mesh.
In addition, this compressor has a needle valve provided with a threaded connection for the introduction of refrigerant into the machine.
The liquefier; which aims to change to the liquid state and to cool the compressed fluid coming from the compressor, is not shown in detail.
The rest of the water passes through the channels 4 inside the envelope z>, removing heat from the ambient medium to then flow outside through an outlet pipe.
In this way, the exchange between the fluid and the condensation water is maximum, resulting in high efficiency of the device as well as a notable saving in water and driving force. In addition, fouling on the outside of the liquefier tubes is reduced to a minimum, since the precipitation of sludge or lime deposits contained in the water takes place on the wall of the chamber where the temperature is highest. . Finally, this device is very easy to clean.
From the liquefier, the refrigerant passes to the evaporator, which is also not shown in the drawing.
The role of the aforementioned self-regulating device is to automatically regulate in a precise manner the refrigerant which passes from the liquefier to the evaporator by virtue of the pressure difference existing in the two devices. Now, it is known that the uniform speed of a refrigerating machine must be established so that the weight of the rigid refrigerant which enters the evaporator is equal to that. that the compressor sucks at the same time from the evaporator to send it after compression to the liquefier. It follows that this regime corresponds to a determined opening of an adjusting valve.
But if the latter has an opening too small for the operating speed of the compressor, less fluid is passed from the liquefier to the evaporator than under normal conditions, so that the liquid level is lowered at the evaporator. and rises in the liquefier, from which it follows that the temperature of the gases increases during compression for a constant temperature of the condensing water.
The opposite phenomena occurring for an excessively large opening of the regulating valve, it follows that the mechanic must act on the regulating valve according to the circumstances in order to continuously obtain maximum yield. With the self-regulator, the flow rate of the refrigerant is automatically regulated according to the temperature of the gas circulating between the compressor and the liquefier.
This device is represented? in fig. b. It comprises a thin-walled steel cylinder 6, filled with a liquid whose boiling point is slightly higher than the temperature of the compressed gas under conditions of perfect operation of the machine.
This cylinder, which is fixed by titi threading on the circuit of the piping t, fig. 1, connecting the compressor to the liquefier, communicates by means of a flexible steel pipe 7 with a second cylinder 8 filled with mercury which is in constant communication with the liquefier through the orifice 9.
The upper part of the cylinder S is connected by titi thread to a small bell 10 in which is titi float 11, the interior of which is connected to the cylinder 8 by titi steel tube 12 of very small diameter, wound in a spiral so as to offer maximum elasticity. The end of this tube, pierced with a small hole, plunges to the bottom of cylinder 8 filled with mercury.
Furthermore; on the upper part of the bell 10, there is a pipe 13 having an orifice 1-1 communicating with the evaporator and inside this pipe 13 slides with gentle friction titi small steel piston 15 < / B> nraitrte.ru pressed on the float by titi spring with flange 16 adjustable by means of urn threaded ring 17.
A cap nut 18 provided with a juint hermetically seals the apparatus.
In the piston 1.5 is made a notch 19 forming a triangular bore. communicate the interior of the bell 10 full of liquid with the enlarged part of the tube 13.
The operation is as follows: Under the influence of variations in the temperature of the compressed gas, resulting from variations in the speed of the machine, the fluid contained in the cylinder 6 is subjected to pressure variations which produce a displacement, by the spiral pipe 1 \ ', of a certain quantity of the mercury contained in the float 11, which has the effect of modifying its gravity and, consequently, the degree of opening of the triangular notch 19 made in the piston < B> 15.
When the temperature of the gas increases, the mercury contained in cylinder 8 and which balances the pressure of the vapor, passes slowly through the float 11 causing the output to drop and thereby giving a larger opening. great @you passage chi liquid. The opposite effect is felt when the gas temperature is lowered.
