Sportmütze. Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist eine Sportsmütze, welche insbesondere für Auto- und Motorradfahrer, Skifahrer usw. bestimmt ist.
Bei Ausübung solchen Sportes kommt es nicht selten vor, dass der Betreffende plötz lich in die Sonne gelangt und geblendet wird, was infolge der raschen Fortbewegung ins besondere bei Auto- oder Kraftfahrern ge fährlich werden kann. Die Auto- oder Schnee- Brillen mit gefärbten Gläsern schützen zwar gegen das Blenden; sie haben aber den grossen Nachteil, dass sie ständig getragen werden müssen und rings um die Augen dicht an liegen.
Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung sucht diesen Nachteil zu beheben, indem an eine Sportsmütze ein durchsichtiger Augenblend schutz angebracht ist, welcher vor die Augen lierabgeklappt werden kann.
Der Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist auf der Zeichnung in einer beispielswei sen Ausführungsform dargestellt.
Fig. 1. und 2 zeigen einen Augenblend schutz ausser Gebrauch und in Verwendung; Fig. 3 ist eine Seitenansicht in teilweisem Schnitt; Fig. 4 ist eine Unteransicht des mit dem Augenblendschutz versehenen Teils einer Mütze.
Die Mütze a besteht bei dem Ausfüh rungsbeispiel aus schmiegsamem Material, wobei der untere Teil b der Mütze a, wie in. Fig. 2 strichpunktiert angedeutet, zum Schutze des Hinterkopfes und als Ohren schutz herabgeschlagen und mittelst eines Kinnriemens c festgemacht werden kann.
Ein Augenblendschutz der Mütze a hat die Gestalt einer durchsichtigen, als Fenster dienenden Klappe <I>d.</I> Diese Klappe d ist mondsichelförmig ausgestaltet und mit ihren beiden Enden f unterhalb des Mützenschildes g dicht bei diesem mit der Mütze an den jenigen beiden Stellen verbunden, an denen der Schild g von der Mütze a ausgeht. Die Klappe d hat auch die Aussenform des Schildes g, so dass sie sich mit diesem deckt, wenn sie ausser Gebrauch nach oben geklappt ist, wo sie durch einen Druckknopf h leicht lösbar festgemacht werden kann.
Soll der Augenblendschutz, respektive die Klappe d in Benützung genommen werden, so ist lediglich der Druckknopf k zu lösen. Die Klappe legt sich dann nach dem Herab klappen mit ihrer konkaven Innenkante i., welche infolge der Schmiegsamkeit der Mütze a beim Aufwärtsklappen einen Bogen vor der Stirne des Mützenträgers beschreibt, un mittelbar über den Augen an die Stirne an.
Die Form der Mütze, des Augenschutzes d und deren Anordnung an der Mütze a können verschiedenartig sein; ebenso ist die Farbe der Klappe beliebig. Anstatt die Enden f des Augenblendschutzes durch Aufnähen mit der Mütze zu verbinden, können auch elas tische Verbindungsmittel verwendet werden.
Diese Klappe kann neben ihrer Wirkung als Blendschutz eine Brille ersetzen, indem sie aufprallenden Regen, Schnee, Sand auf fangen kann und die Augen auch gegen Wind schützt.
