La fig. 1 est une élévation latérale, et Les fig. 2 et 3 des vues de face de détails. Le pied 1 d'un support 2 d'une poulie à gorge 3 actionnée par une manivelle 4 est fixé au moyen d'un étau à main 5 sur une planche fixe 6 prévue à la station de tir (voir côté gauche de la fig. 1). Le pied 1 du support 2 est solidaire d'un plateau 7 qui par un rebord 8 est accroché sur le bord arrière de ladite planche et le support 2 est monté à pivot dans le pied 1, une vis de serrage 9 permettant de fixer le support 2 sous une inclination quelconque afin de pou voir régler la tension d'un câble 10 porté par ladite poulie 3.
Ce câble est disposé entre la station de tir et le but et est guidé au but par deux galets à gorge 11, montés sur une plaque 12 fixée à une paroi 13 prévue au but. Cette plaque, en fer, possède encore un prolongement 14. Ce prolongement sert de pare-balles.
La cible 15, par exemple en carton, est emboîtée dans un léger cadre 16 de fer sup porté par une tringle 17 et y est retenue par trois griffes 18 solidaires du cadre. Le brin supérieur du câble attaché à des oeillets 19 de la tringle de la cible sert à conduire cel le-ci, tandis que le brin inférieur sert de voie à un galet à gorge 20 monté dans le pied en fourche de la tringle, la position verticale de la tringle suspendue au brin supérieur et, par suite, la position verticale de la cible étant maintenue par un contrepoids 21 atta. ché au pied prolongé jusqu'au-dessous du brin inférieur du câble.
En outre deux taquets de butée 22 for niés par des rebords des deux griffes supé rieures 18 sont prévus sur le cadre 16 et sont appliqués pendant le tir contre la partie 14 de la plaque 12.
Pour le tir, la position verticale de la cible est assurée par les taquets 22 et le galet 20 qui touche alors le galet inférieur 11.
Pour contrôler après le tir les coups mis en cible, il suffit de tourner la manivelle 4 pour amener la cible, restant toujours verti cale, vers la station de tir où un nouveau carton peut être introduit dans le cadre 16 pour qu'on puisse continuer le tir sans être obligé de traverser chaque fois l'espace qui sépare le tireur du but.
