Device for cooling the air in cold stores. To cool the air in cold rooms, tubes through which a cooling medium flows have been placed in the cold room until now. Water always condensed on these cooling tubes and the tubes rusted.
According to the present invention, which has a device for cooling the air of cold rooms, in particular for rooms for storing food, such as meat, milk, etc., as its object, an air line opens into the room intended for receiving the goods to be cooled, wel che is connected to an air shaft, the walls of which are cooled by a cooled sole and through which tubes are passed through which a coolant is passed.
In the drawing, three execution examples of the subject of the invention are shown cally, namely: Fig. 1 is a horizontal section along the line from Fig. 2 of the first example, Fig. 2 is a vertical section along the line cd 'of FIG. 1; Fig. 3 and 4 show, each in a ver vertical section, two further execution examples.
The cooling device according to FIG. 1 be seated a closed container 1, in wel chem an air shaft 2 is housed. The walls of the air shaft 2 are guided in a zigzag. The ends protrude freely from the housing; these are connected to the room to be cooled. In the air shaft 2 there are cooling coils d, which serve to receive a cooling medium, for example ammonia. In the container 1 there is brine, which is cooled by a pipe 4 ge.
The air to be cooled is pressed through the air shaft 2 by a compressor or the like, namely in the opposite direction to the running direction of the cooling medium flowing in the cooling coils 3, which moves, for example, according to the arrow in FIG.
The cooling air is cooled by these due to the arrangement of the tubes 3. The air shaft 2 is also cooled from the outside by the brine cooled by the pipe 4. Thus, the air circulating in the air shaft 2 cools not only on the cooling pipes 3 housed in the air shaft, but also on the shaft walls. In the device described, the circulating air does not come into contact with the solc; thus no liquid parts of the brine can be entrained.
The cooling device can be set up at any place outside the room to be cooled and the cooled air can be passed through suitable lines into the cooling room. The cooling device is advantageously mounted on a base plate so that it can be transported.
In Fig. 3, which shows a second embodiment example, the air to be cooled is passed through a vertical, cylindrical air shaft 5. In this there are a number of cooling tubes 6, which open at both ends into chambers 7, 8, which with a Zu- BEzw. Drainage for the cooling medium are provided. The cooling tubes 6 cool the air in the cylinder 5, while a spiral tube 9 arranged around the cylinder 5 cools the brine in the container 1 and this cools the cylinder, ie indirectly the air.
In the third embodiment, the air is passed in a zigzag through channels of the air shaft 10, in which the cooling line 11 for the cooling medium is also arranged in a zigzag. A cooling coil 1? Guided around parts 10 and 11. cools the brine in the container 1, and this in turn cools the walls of the shaft 10 and thereby the air in it.
In all three embodiments the air circulates in the opposite direction in relation to the direction; of the cooling medium.
