Une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'in vention est représentée schématiquement, à titre d'exemple, au dessin annexé Tig. I<B>-</B>en est une vue de face et fig. II une vue de côté.
Suivant cette forme d'exécution, pendant la marche de la montre, le marteau M du réveil est condamné par le ressort F; lui- même, du mécanisme de déclenchement du réveil, ce ressort F présentant un doigt 0 contre lequel bute la goupille N du marteau M. Ce ressort P est alors tendu par la che ville G du mécanisme de déclenchement, oc cupant la position pointillée en fig. II.
Lorsque la saillie P de la roue H com mandée par le mouvement de la montre, tombe sous l'action de F, dans l'encoche de la roue de réveil, le ressort F se détend jus que contre la platine E, la goupille N est libérée et la sonnerie se met en marche.
Pendant la sonnerie, le barillet A tourne dans le sens de la flèche; il porte un doigt B, y pivoté et soumis à l'action d'un ressort C. Le bout de ce doigt rencontre, lorsque le barillet a fait à peu prés un tour, d'abord le plot<I>D fixé</I> sur la platine<B>E</B>. Le doigt<I>B</I> dé vie autour de ce plot, puis tombe sur le plot <I>L</I> fixé sur la masse I; cette masse<I>I</I> est pi votée au ressort F et est soumise à l'action d'un ressort K qui la maintient hors du che min de la goupille<I>N;</I> le plot<I>L</I> qu'elle porte est amené sur le chemin du doigt B lorsque le ressort P se détend.
Sous l'action du doigt <I>B</I> sur<I>L,</I> la masse<I>I</I> est amenée à l'encontre de son ressort Ii', dans la position pointillée (fig. I), dans laquelle elle interrompt la son nerie, en s'interposant dans le chemin de la goupille N de M: En poursuivant sa marche, la montre fait tourner la roue H dont la saillie P doit sor tir de l'encoche de la roue de réveil; à ce moment, la cheville G reprend la position pointillée et soulève le ressort F; la massé .T libérée reprend sa position de repos et le mécanisme de réveil est prêt à fonctionner de nouveau, lorsque la saillie P tombera dans l'encoche de la roue de réveil.
