Drehstrom-Maschinen-Aggregat.
Three-phase machine unit. In the additional patent no. 103150 an electrical machine unit is described, which includes an induction motor, a main current machine connected in cascade, high inductances connected in series with the latter and also a squirrel-cage armature winding of high ohmic resistance, the rotating parts of the motor and the Main current machine are mechanically coupled with each other.
In this unit, the short-circuit armature winding and the secondary phase winding act alternately in the sense that the former acts first when starting, while the latter acts predominantly at high speed, although this speed is lower than the synchronous speed. This mode of operation is due to the gradual decrease in frequency in the secondary circuits.
According to the present invention, the secondary current circuit, which has high resistance, is instead arranged as a short-circuit armature winding electrically independent of the secondary phase winding as a shunt to the main current machine connected to the said secondary phase winding and to the inductances connected in series with it. The way it works is exactly the same as in the case of the aggregate described in the additional patent mentioned. When starting, the secondary current, which has a higher frequency, flows mainly through the high ohmic resistance in the shunt to the high inductances and thus generates a high starting moment.
As the speed increases and the secondary frequency gradually decreases, more and more current flows through the inductances mentioned and consequently through the main current machine connected in series. The latter is finally excited in such a way that it generates a current and thereby supplies an excitation current to the secondary winding of the induction motor and automatically synchronizes the unit.
If desired, a short-circuit armature winding can also be provided on the secondary core. This allows the torque and speed curve of the unit to be regulated depending on the requirements of the case. For example, you can make the starting moment greater than the torque at full load.
In the drawing, the scheme of an embodiment of the invention was shown.
P designates the primary and S the secondary winding of the induction motor. If the secondary winding S is attached to the rotor of the induction motor, its connection terminals are brought out through suitable slip rings and connected to the star-connected inductances X1, X2, X3 and the high resistors R1, R2, which are also connected in parallel to them. R3 connected. Between one of these inductances, for example X1, and the neutral one. Point 02, a series short-circuit commutator generator is connected, which has an arm 4 and a field winding F and is advantageously mechanically coupled directly to the induction motor mentioned.
If a unit formed in this way is supplied with three-phase current from the side of the induction motor, it starts up as an ordinary induction motor. When starting, as well as when the speed is slow, the secondary frequency is still high in relation to the primary frequency. Therefore, the secondary current flows mainly through the ohmic resistors R1, R2 and R3 and the starting torque of the motor is large. As the speed of the unit increases and the secondary frequency gradually decreases, more and more current flows through the inductances X1, X2 and X3 and the main current machine than through the resistors connected in parallel.
If the secondary frequency falls to a certain, sufficiently low amount, the magnetic field of the main current machine is formed, which now acts as a direct current main current generator from this point on and supplies an excitation current to the secondary winding S of the induction machine and converts this into a synchronous motor converts. All of this is fully explained in the aforementioned additional patent.
The neutral point 01 of the star-connected resistors R1, R2, R3, and the neutral point 02 of the star-connected inductances X1, X2, X3 can either be electrically connected to one another or isolated from one another. In the first case, which is drawn, after the mentioned synchronization is achieved, the mentioned synchronization is achieved, the regulation of the excitation current can be effected by changing the resistor R1, which is connected in parallel with the main current generator. If, on the other hand, the two neutral points are isolated from each other, the excitation current can be regulated using the three star-connected resistors R1, R2 and R3.
If one attaches a short-circuit armature of high resistances to the secondary core of the induction machine in addition to the phase winding S, as shown in the drawing, an effect equivalent to that of the triple secondary winding can be achieved, i.e. H. the speed torque characteristics of the unit can be given any desired shape. For example, it will be possible to create a machine whose starting torque is greater than the normal full load torque.
Instead of switching the field winding F of the main current machine into one of the phases, as shown, it can be evenly distributed over all secondary phases, as in the earlier patent mentioned.
