Description

  Le bas selon l'invention peut être fait en  diverses grandeurs et différer de la forme  d'exécution représentée, par exemple et sui  vant la répartition de la maladie sur le membre  à     traîter,    par la forme des portions de la  pièce pratiquement presque inextensible,     par     la disposition, le nombre et la longueur des  bandes d'étoffe 4 etc.; il     pourait    ne pas pré  senter de bandes d'étoffes 4 avec lacets 7,  ni     d'#illets    6 avec lacets 8     etc.    ; il présente,  sur d'autres bas connus, l'avantage de per  mettre un réglage de la pression exercée sur  la jambe malade, très doux, efficace, rapide,  par la personne elle-même qui porte le bas;

    en outre, il ne contient pas de caoutchouc qui a été reconnu comme malsain.

  Stockings for medical and hygienic care such as the containment of varicose veins, the treatment of phlebitis, ulcerations, dermatitis etc. The present invention relates to a stocking for medical and hygienic care such as the containment of varicose veins, the treatment of phlebitis, ulcerations, dermatitis etc; this stocking differs from other known stockings in that it does not contain rubber and has two knit parts arranged longitudinally and connected to each other, one of these parts being practically almost inextensible, while the other is expandable.

  An embodiment of the object of the invention is shown schematically and by way of example, in the appended drawing in which: FIG. 1 is a side view, the bottom being ready for use, and FIG. 2 is a corresponding side view, the stocking being applied to the diseased leg not shown.

  In this form. Execution, the rear part of the stocking constitutes the practically almost inextensible part of which the upper portion 1, intended to clothe the leg, is partially separated from the portion l 'intended to clothe the foot, the heel and the toe of the remaining foot free. The front part of the bottom constitutes the expandable part 2 connected to the practically almost inextensible part by the common joint 3.

  On either side of this seal 3 are arranged along the upper part 1 of the narrow bands 4 each formed of two layers of fabric between which is fixed a cord forming loops 5 projecting on the edge of these bands and in which pass laces 7. The bottom foot has eyelets 6 formed, for example, also by a cord passed through the knitted pieces and in which #illets is passed a lace 8.

  The lower extensible part makes it possible to introduce the diseased limb into it; this done, the pressure exerted by the bottom on the leg is adjusted at will, according to the sensitivity of the latter, by bringing the fabric bands 4 together by pulling the neck loosely on the laces 7 and 8 that it is then stopped, in any suitable manner, as is shown briefly in the drawing (fig. 2). The tabs 4 serve to pull the bottom up and secure it either to the corset or to the shoulder strap etc.

  The stockings according to the invention can be made in various sizes and differ from the embodiment shown, for example and depending on the distribution of the disease on the limb to be treated, by the shape of the portions of the practically almost inextensible part, by the arrangement, the number and the length of the fabric bands 4 etc .; there may be no fabric bands 4 with laces 7, or # eyelets 6 with laces 8 etc. ; it has, over other known stockings, the advantage of allowing adjustment of the pressure exerted on the diseased leg, very gentle, efficient, rapid, by the person himself who wears the stocking;

    Moreover, it does not contain rubber which has been recognized as unhealthy.
