Ofenrohreinsatz.
Stovepipe insert. The subject of the present inven tion is intended to be used to the fullest possible extent from the heat inherent in the flue gases of a fireplace. The device is set up in such a way that, in normal operations, the flue gases have to repeatedly cover the path between two flue gas chambers before they leave the insert in order to be drawn off into a pipe serving to convey the smoke.
The accompanying drawing represents an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. FIGS. 1 and 2 are meridional sections along two planes perpendicular to one another, and FIG. D is a cross section along the line A-B in FIG. 1.
A cylinder b with a connection piece a for placing on a stove pipe or on the smoke outlet opening of a fireplace, for example a stove or oven, which partially penetrates the lower smoke gas chamber 2s in the axial direction, opens into a leading to the upper smoke gas chamber v Smoke pipe c. The two chambers et and v are connected to one another by a number of heating tubes f and g which form a ring around the central smoke tube c. The upper chamber v is divided by two radial walls d and an arcuate wall e; Four tubes f open into compartment i, and three tubes y into compartment j.
The ceiling 7n of the upper chamber v extends only over the department i and has a, -the mouth of the smoke pipe c in that chamber ge opposite, cutout 'o. Under this section there is a shut-off organ in the form of a slide k with inclined surfaces, the guides n are attached to the underside of the ceiling m. To operate the slide, a handle h connected to it by a pull rod z is provided.
The compartment j of the chamber v is connected to the exhaust funnel y), which is provided with a connector q for connection to an exhaust pipe serving to convey the smoke.
In order to be able to clean the smoke pipe c and the heating tubes f and g from soot and fly ash, the exhaust funnel p is linked to the chamber v by means of hinges s. Likewise, a device can also be made to be able to clean the lower chamber tc; For example, a cleaning door can be provided in the outer wall or in the sloping floor of this chamber for this purpose.
When the stove or stove is lit, the slide 7e is pulled back so that the smoke rising through the smoke pipe c through the cutout o in the ceiling ira over the compartment i of the upper smoke gas chamber v . Directly into the exhaust tricliter p and can pull off the connector g from there.
For normal operation, the slide k is pushed forward and locked in from the opening o in the ceiling; the flue gases are then deflected by the inclined surfaces of the slide and must now flow from the compartment i of the upper chamber through the heating tubes f into the lower chamber u, from which they then flow through the tubes g the division j of the upper chamber and from this immediately flow into the draw-off funnel p, from where they draw off through the nozzle cq.
Accordingly, the smoke gases have to travel between the baiden Rauchgaskanimerii several times, releasing a large part of their inherent heat into the environment, so that only a relatively small part of the heat remains unused.
