Fig. 1 zeigt dasselbe in beispielsweiser Anwendung,
Fig.
Mowing tool.
The subject of the invention is a mobile mowing tool that can be guided by hand with a back and forth knife rail, the movement of which is effected by means of a drive to be controlled by the hand of the mower, which is designed in such a way that when the mower is on the move, it moves hand control by means of the alternately pulling tension members are set in action and thereby drives the knife rail connected to it to move back and forth.
The accompanying drawing illustrates an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention:
Fig. 1 shows the same in an example application,
2 is a top view of the mower with parts in horizontal section,
Fig.
3 is a vertical section through the mowing implement. a is the knife bar that can be moved on rollers and b is the knife bar that moves back and forth along the same, both organs of the type used in mowing machines,
On the middle part of the cutter bar a, a wheeled box c is attached, in which the drive mentioned at the beginning is arranged and to which a drawbar d to be guided by hand is articulated at e. The drive consists of two loosely rotatable Eederhaus drums f f (Fig. 2 and 3), on the outer circumference of which a flexible tension band g respectively. g 'is attached.
The tension straps g, gt are connected to the ends of a manual control lever d1 mounted on the drawbar d (FIG. 1). The spiral springs in the interior of the drums f, f1 are attached with their inner end to a fixed hub and their outer end to the inner circumference of the drum.
The drums f, f1 # transmit their rotary motion in one sense through the intermediary of two oppositely acting elbow gears to a horizontal gear mechanism i, which drives the drive crank w for the cutter bar b through a spur gear mechanism k.
When walking the mower pushing the tool on the drawbar d in front of him (Fig. 1), by moving the lever dol by hand in one sense, one pulling strap, for example g, is released in order to be wound onto the drum f, while the other tension band g1 is pulled while unwinding from the drum f 'and thus acts on the drum f' pulling, so that the same is rotated in the driving sense under tension of its spring to the knife bar by the switching mechanism h1 and the gears i, k b to move back and forth.
During the subsequent movement of the lever d'in the opposite direction, the tension belt gui s winds up on the drum fl, while the tension belt g is pulled from the drum f while being unwound, in order to rotate it in the driving direction Now the switching mechanism can be used to move the knife rail b back and forth. In this way, the barrel drums f, f 'alternately act to move the knife rail b.
When not in use, the cutter bar with the cutter bar can be turned back on the rollers of the box c into a rest position determined by stops o on the drawbar d. In this state, the tool can be moved from place to place without risk of damaging the knife rail.
Instead of the lever dl, a manual steering wheel could also be arranged on the drawbar d.
