Abstract

L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés permettant de sauter une présentation d'une partie de segments afin de revenir à l'émission en direct sur la base d'une valeur de niveau de priorité. Par exemple, une application de diffusion continue génère un élément de contenu pour une diffusion continue en direct, l'élément de contenu comprenant une pluralité de segments. Lorsqu'il est déterminé que la lecture de l'élément de contenu prend du retard par rapport à la diffusion continue en direct de l'élément de contenu, l'application de diffusion continue identifie une durée de retard et détermine un seuil de priorité sur la base du retard. Sur la base d'un manifeste qui comprend des informations de niveau de priorité, l'application de diffusion continue détermine si un segment respectif doit être mis en cache. Par exemple, si un niveau de priorité pour un segment qui est dans la durée du retard a un niveau de priorité qui est supérieur au seuil de priorité, le segment est stocké dans une mémoire cache à partir d'une adresse de réseau respective et est lu à partir de la mémoire cache.
