Abstract

Two cameras are connected to monitors installed on the back of car front seats, through a circuit, so rear seat passengers will be able to monitor the surrounding area before opening the rear doors.

Description

Monitoring system of car surrounding area for rear seat passengers Background = According to available statistics and information, pictures and videos, fatal accidents happen every year on the streets when the back door of the car is opened (by the rear passengers because they don't have a full view of the vehicles around them).
= These accidents involve more life and financial losses on streets and cities with more motorcycles or cyclists.
= By building and using this invention, it is possible to prevent such harmful accidents.
Description Two small cameras are installed on side mirrors of the car.
Inside the car, monitors are installed on the back of the front seats, so rear seat passengers can see them. Alternatively, monitors can be installed on elbow seat of each rear door for the rear seat passengers. Images are sent to these monitors through a circuit. The rear seat passengers will be able to check the surrounding area. A monitor is also installed on the dashboard for the front seat passenger and the driver. There is also a "record" option on the monitors to record the journey.
Benefits for the rear passenger of the car = The rear passengers of the car are able to see the right and left side of the car through the monitor, and then intend to open the car door, and therefore, avoid accidents.
= When the car is parked next to a wall or a tree, the rear passengers can see the distance from the door to the side obstacle through the monitor and then open the door to prevent damaging the car door.
= When the car is parked in places where water and mud have covered the car due to rain, the rear passenger can see the ground surface around the car door on the monitor and if the ground surface is safe, they can get out of the car.
= This invention will also allow the rear passenger to see the holes and subsidence of the ground at the place they want to get off the car.

Date recue/Date received 2023-02-20 N( Considering that both monitors of the rear seats of the car can display images from both sides of the car, if a child or an elderly person intends to exit from one of the two rear doors, the passenger beside them can first see the surroundings of the car in his seat monitor, check it carefully and then allow them to open the car door.
Benefits for the driver = During heavy rain and snow or similar times when the driver is unable to look at the side mirrors of the car through the rear window, he can easily see the surroundings of the car clearly on the front monitor screen by activating the display of the cameras.
= The driver can watch both sides of the car at the same time, or if needed, one side of the car, on the monitor on the dashboard.
= By confirming the option of recording footages through two high-definition cameras, the driver can film the entire journey of the car, and if necessary, check those images, an option that includes the following advantages:
= If an accident happens to a car, the driver or police or insurance companies etc. can easily find out the exact cause of the accident by checking the footages.
N( The presence of these cameras, which are capable of covering and recording all four doors of the car and its surroundings completely, increases the security of the car and its passengers and warns thieves or pickpockets or terrorists or those who want to cause damage to the car or its passengers while the car is moving or stopped, and will make them afraid of being exposed.
N( If the circuit of these cameras is connected to the Internet system, the car owner can be informed of the location around his car through the software when he has parked the car, and can spend time in peace.
Summary By installing the "Monitoring system of car surrounding area for rear seat passengers", from now on passengers will be able to monitor their surrounding area on the monitors prior to opening the car doors, to ensure safety and prevent any harmful accidents.
