Abstract

L'invention concerne des systèmes et des techniques permettant de suivre des articles d'inventaire dans une zone d'un espace réel. Une pluralité de caméras ou d'autres capteurs produisent des séquences respectives d'images des champs de vision correspondants dans l'espace réel. Le champ de vision de chaque caméra chevauche le champ de vision d'au moins une autre caméra. Le système est couplé à la pluralité de caméras et utilise les séquences d'images produites par au moins deux caméras de la pluralité de caméras afin d'identifier des événements d'inventaire. L'événement d'inventaire comprend un identifiant d'article, un emplacement et un horodatage. Une pluralité de cellules ayant des coordonnées dans la zone d'espace réel sont stockées sous la forme d'un ensemble de données dans la mémoire. Le système de traitement calcule des scores à un moment de notation, pour les articles d'inventaire ayant des emplacements correspondant aux cellules particulières, à l'aide des comptes respectifs d'événements d'inventaire.
