Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de protection, permettant en particulier à un chirurgien-dentiste de ne pas être contaminé par un patient lors d'un traitement dentaire. Plus précisément, ce dispositif de protection comprend : - un bouclier transparent (1) ; - un support deformable (3) reliant le bouclier transparent (1) à un fauteuil (2), - des moyens de fixation (4,5) du support deformable (3) au fauteuil (2). DISPOSITIF DE PROTECTION, NOTAMMENT POUR CHIRURGIEN-DENTISTE
L'invention concerne un dispositif de protection, permettant en particulier à un chirurgien-dentiste de ne pas être contaminé par un patient lors d'un traitement dentaire, et à
l'utilisation d'un tel dispositif.
Arrière-plan de l'invention L'apparition du nouveau virus corona 2019 a provoqué une pandémie et a imposé au monde entier d'adopter de nouvelles règles et mesures sanitaires en vue de limiter ou d'arrêt la propagation du virus. De nombreux professionnels ont alors cherché des solutions pour améliorer leur protection tout en pouvant exercer leur métier le plus normalement possible.
Exposé sommaire de l'invention Le but principal de l'invention est de permettre à un professionnel, tel qu'un chirurgien-dentiste, de pouvoir travailler le plus naturellement possible, que le patient dont il s'occupe soit ou non infecté par un virus, en particulier par le nouveau virus corona 2019.
Selon l'invention, ce but est atteint à l'aide d'un dispositif selon le point 1 suivant :
1.- Dispositif de protection, notamment pour chirurgien-dentiste, comprenant :
- un bouclier transparent ;
- un support deformable reliant le bouclier transparent à un fauteuil, et - des moyens de fixation du support deformable au fauteuil.

The invention relates to a protection device, allowing in particular to a dental surgeon not to be contaminated by a patient during dental treatment, and the use of such a device.
Background of the invention The outbreak of the novel corona virus 2019 has caused a pandemic and forced the whole world to adopt new health rules and measures to limit or stop the spread of the virus. Many professionals then sought solutions to improve their protection while able to practice their profession as normally as possible.
Brief description of the invention The main object of the invention is to allow a professional, such as a dental surgeon, to be able work as naturally as possible, that the patient cared for whether or not infected with a virus, in especially by the novel corona virus 2019.
According to the invention, this object is achieved with the aid of a device according to point 1 below:
1.- Protective device, in particular for surgeons-dentist, including:
- a transparent shield;
- a deformable support connecting the transparent shield to a armchair, and - means for fixing the deformable support to the chair.

Exposé détaillé de l'invention Un exemple de réalisation du dispositif selon l'invention est représenté sur les figures 1 à 7.
Comme on peut voir sur la figure 1, le dispositif comprend tout d'abord un bouclier 1 qui est transparent afin de permettre au dentiste d'examiner la bouche du patient et d'y intervenir.
Date Reçue/Date Received 2020-10-19 De préférence, ce bouclier 1 est sensiblement en forme de cône et est fixé par son sommet 8 à un support 3 qui le relie à un fauteuil 2 de dentiste.
Le support 3 est déformable manuellement de façon à ce que le dentiste puisse le positionner le mieux possible au-dessus de la tête du patient et qu'il reste dans la position que lui a donnée le dentiste, comme cela ressort également de la figure 2.
Le support 3 peut revêtir par exemple la forme d'un tuyau à
ossature interne métallique qui lui confère sa déformabilité
et il est muni à son extrémité inférieure de moyens, visibles sur les figures 3 et 4, permettant sa fixation au fauteuil 2. Ces moyens comprennent par exemple deux barres 4 et 5 destinées à serrer entre elles, à l'aide de vis 6, une partie 7 du dossier du fauteuil 2.
Avantageusement, la fixation du bouclier 1 au support déformable 3 s'effectue par le truchement d'une pièce 9 de forme sensiblement torique visible sur les figures 1 et 2 et plus en détail sur les figures 5 à 7.
Le sommet 8 du cône formé par le bouclier 1 est alors de préférence tronqué, de manière à ce que son bord puisse être reçu dans une gorge 10 (cf. figure 6) dont la paroi circulaire inférieure 11 est préférablement inclinée vers le bas pour épouser la forme tronconique du bouclier 1.
Un trou 12 peut être prévu pour loger l'extrémité supérieure du support déformable 3.
Il est souhaitable que le bouclier 1 présente, dans son état démonté représenté sur la figure 8, une échancrure 13 obtenue en découpant un morceau de cône défini en reliant les deux côtés d'un arc de la base du cône au sommet de ce cône. Pour pouvoir fermer le tronc de cône, les deux bords rectilignes 14 et 15 de l'échancrure comportent alors des moyens de fixation 16,17, tels que des ergots 16 et des Date Reçue/Date Received 2020-10-19 trous 17, coopérant d'une part, pour maintenir un bord de manière légèrement superposée sur l'autre bord, dans le but de réaliser une étanchéité, et, d'autre part, pour refermer le bord du sommet 8 autour de la gorge 10 de façon à
solidariser le bouclier 1 à la pièce torique 9, de préférence également de manière étanche. Le sommet 8 du bouclier 1 prend alors appui sur la paroi circulaire inclinée 11.
La fixation d'un bord sur l'autre, est réversible, ce qui permet au dentiste de retirer le bouclier après le départ du patient et d'en remplacer un propre pour le patient suivant.
Le bouclier usagé peut alors être jeté ou désinfecté pour être réutilisé.
Selon un mode de réalisation avantageux de l'invention, la base du cône formé par le bouclier comporte des parties formant pétales 18 s'étendant sur le pourtour de ladite base et faisant saillie vers le bas. Comme on peut le voir sur la figure 9, ces pétales 18 peuvent servir à fixer une feuille de protection souple 19 de préférence transparente, qui s'étend vers le bas sous l'effet de la pesanteur et forme ainsi une prolongation cylindrique de la base du bouclier 1.
Ainsi, grâce à sa souplesse, la feuille de protection 19 peut être soulevée pour laisser passer les mains et les bras du dentiste. Elle ne gêne pas ce dernier dans son travail et le protège en même temps des éventuelles projections, surtout lors de la réalisation d'un détartrage.
La fixation de la feuille de protection 19 au bouclier est réversible, ce qui permet au dentiste de la retirer, comme le bouclier après le départ du patient et de replacer une feuille de protection propre pour le patient suivant.
Le feuille de protection usagée peut alors être jetée ou désinfectée pour être réutilisée.
Date Reçue/Date Received 2020-10-19 Selon un autre mode de réalisation de l'invention visible sur les figures 5 et 7, la pièce de forme torique 9 comporte une ouverture 20 qui la traverse le long de son axe de révolution.
Cette ouverture 20 permet le branchement d'un tuyau d'aspiration 21 visible sur la figure 10.
Il est alors avantageux d'utiliser un tuyau d'aspiration 21 relié au système d'aspiration de l'appareillage du dentiste.
S'il n'est pas nécessaire d'effectuer une aspiration, le tuyau d'aspiration 21 peut être ôté et l'ouverture 20 refermée par un bouchon (non représenté).
Les pièces constituant le dispositif selon l'invention peuvent être réalisées avec des matériaux connus disponibles dans le commerce.

Detailed disclosure of the invention An embodiment of the device according to the invention is shown in Figures 1 to 7.
As can be seen in Figure 1, the device comprises first of all a shield 1 which is transparent in order to allow the dentist to examine the patient's mouth and to intervene.
Date Received/Date Received 2020-10-19 Preferably, this shield 1 is substantially in the shape of a cone and is fixed by its vertex 8 to a support 3 which connects to a dentist's chair 2.
The support 3 is manually deformable so that the dentist can position it as well as possible above the patient's head and remain in the position given to him by the dentist, as also appears of Figure 2.
The support 3 can for example take the form of a pipe with internal metal frame which gives it its deformability and it is provided at its lower end with means, visible in Figures 3 and 4, allowing its attachment to the armchair 2. These means comprise for example two bars 4 and 5 intended to tighten between them, using screws 6, a part 7 of the chair back 2.
Advantageously, fixing the shield 1 to the support deformable 3 is effected by means of a part 9 of substantially toric shape visible in Figures 1 and 2 and in more detail in Figures 5 to 7.
The vertex 8 of the cone formed by the shield 1 is then preferably truncated, so that its edge can be received in a groove 10 (cf. FIG. 6) whose wall lower circular 11 is preferably inclined towards the down to match the tapered shape of shield 1.
A hole 12 may be provided to accommodate the upper end of the deformable support 3.
It is desirable that the shield 1 present, in its state disassembled shown in Figure 8, a notch 13 obtained by cutting out a piece of cone defined by connecting the two sides of an arc from the base of the cone to the top of it cone. To be able to close the truncated cone, the two edges rectilinear 14 and 15 of the indentation then comprise fixing means 16,17, such as lugs 16 and Date Received/Date Received 2020-10-19 holes 17, cooperating on the one hand, to maintain an edge of slightly superimposed on the other edge, with the aim to achieve a seal, and, on the other hand, to close the edge of the crown 8 around the groove 10 so as to secure the shield 1 to the toric part 9, preferably also in a sealed manner. The fixing from one edge to the other is reversible, which allows the dentist to remove the shield after the patient has left patient and replace a clean one for the next patient.
The used shield can then be discarded or disinfected for be reused.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the base of the cone formed by the shield has parts forming petals 18 extending around the periphery of said base and protruding downward. As can be seen on the figure 9, these petals 18 can be used to fix a sheet flexible protection 19 preferably transparent, which extends downward under the effect of gravity and forms thus a cylindrical extension of the base of shield 1.
Thus, thanks to its flexibility, the protective sheet 19 can be raised to allow hands and arms to pass of the dentist. She does not interfere with the latter in his work and protects it at the same time from possible projections, especially when carrying out descaling.
The attachment of the protective sheet 19 to the shield is reversible, allowing the dentist to remove it, as the shield after the patient has left and replace a clean protective sheet for the next patient.
The used protective sheet can then be discarded or disinfected for reuse.
Date Received/Date Received 2020-10-19 According to another embodiment of the invention visible in FIGS. 5 and 7, the toric-shaped part 9 comprises an opening 20 passing through it along its axis of revolution.
This opening 20 allows the connection of a pipe suction 21 visible in Figure 10.
It is then advantageous to use a suction pipe 21 connected to the suction system of the dentist's apparatus.
If aspiration is not required, the suction pipe 21 can be removed and the opening 20 closed by a stopper (not shown).
The parts constituting the device according to the invention can be made with known materials available in trade.

Claims

1.- Protective device, in particular for surgeons-dentist, including:
- a transparent shield (1);
- a deformable support (3) connecting the transparent shield to an armchair and - fixing means (4.5) of the deformable support (3) to the armchair (2).

2.- Protective device according to claim 1, in which the transparent shield (1) is substantially shaped of cone whose apex (8) is fixed to the deformable support (3).

3.- Protective device according to claim 2, in which the apex (8) of the cone formed by the shield transparent (1) is fixed to the deformable support (3) by via a piece of substantially toroidal shape (9).

4.- Protective device according to claim 3, in which the apex (8) of the cone is truncated and the toric part (9) comprises a groove (10) to house this truncated vertex (8).

5.- Protective device according to claim 4, in wherein the groove (10) has a circular wall bottom (11) inclined.

6.- Protective device according to one of the claims 3 to 5, in which the torus-shaped part (9) is Date Received/Date Received 2020-10-19 traversed by an opening (20) extending along its axis of revolution.

7.- Protective device according to one of the claims 2 to 6, in which the base of the cone formed by the shield transparent (1) has petal portions (18) extending around the periphery of said base and protruding down.

8.- Protective device according to claim 7, further comprising a protective sheet (19) attached to the petals (18) and extending downwards under the effect of the gravity, thus forming a cylindrical extension of the base of the transparent shield (1).

9.- Device according to one of claims 2 to 8, in which, in the disassembled state, the transparent shield (1) has an indentation (13) obtained by cutting out a piece of cone defined by connecting the two sides of an arc from the base of the cone at the apex (8) of this cone, and in which the two straight edges (14,15) of the notch (13) are, at in the mounted state, fixed to each other (14) (15) by means fixing (16,17).

10.- Use of a device according to claim 6 or according to one of claims 7 to 9 attached to the claim 6, in which a pipe is connected suction (21) at the opening (20) of the shaped piece ring (9) and the suction is started.
