Abstract

The present invention is an apparatus that provides retraction of the foreskin of the wearer and maintains the retraction of the foreskin throughout sexual activity. Such an apparatus also increases the length of the sliding interface between the penis and stimulating object during sexual activity. Further, the device will expose the stretch-sensitive endings of the foreskin during sexual activity. The device will also retain blood within the penis upon erection, allowing for more reliable, harder and longer erection periods. The apparatus also creates the appearance of a larger penis.

Description

DEVICE THAT RETRACTS THE FORESKIN AND COMPRESSES THE DORSAL VEINS
TO ENHANCE AND MAINTAIN AN ERECTION IN A HUMAN MALE
FIELD
[0001] The present invention pertains to the field of sexual paraphernalia. In particular, the present invention provides a mechanical device that increases sexual stimulation for both the male and female partners intended to be worn by men either during intercourse or during alternate penile stimulation.
BACKGROUND
[0002] The human penis has more or less foreskin which slides, or "rolls" back and forth over the shaft of the erect penis during sexual stimulation to a greateror lesser extent depending on the amount of foreskin present.
[0003] While the sliding and rolling of the foreskin has in and of itself a certain stimulative effect, it also has potentially negative side-effects. These side-effects include: it alternately covers and uncovers the head of the penis, and in some cases does not completely uncover the head, thereby reducing the direct frictional stimulation of the head, which is the most sensitive part of the penis, and;
it reduces the effective length of the sliding interface between the shaft of the penis and the inner wall of the vagina or alternate stimulating object or body part, on any insertion or retraction stroke by an amount equal to the length of the sliding of the foreskin.
[0004] An apparatus that retracts and keeps the foreskin retracted during sexual activity could help to overcome some of the negative side-effects mentioned above. It could prevent the foreskin from retracting overthe penis during any insertion or retraction stroke. By preventing this stroke retraction, the effective length of sliding interface would be increased during the entirety of sexual activity.
[0005] Many males are interested in extenuating the length of their penis for a variety of reasons, including relief of anxiety experienced due to the size of their penis.
Lengthening, or creating the appearance of a lengthening of the penis could help to overcome this anxiety.
[0006] Some men experience difficulty maintaining or having an erection when engaged in sexual activity. By retaining blood within the penis, an erection can be achieved and maintained. Attempts to retain blood within the penis after an erection through direct downward pressure on the dorsal veins acting only on the top third of the penile shaft's circumference can be ineffective. By applying pressure over the entire circumference of the penis, including not only the superficial dorsal vein but also the deep dorsal vein, a greater retention of blood may be provided in order to hold an erection.
[0007] There is stigma attached to the treatment of erectile dysfunction. Many men are exposed to products marketed and designed for the treatment of such dysfunction and thus are exposed to such stigma themselves. A treatment for erectile dysfunction that is a byproduct function of an invention designed to have an alternate primary purpose (such as enhancing the sexual pleasure of a male engaged in sexual activity) could reduce the stigma associated with treatment.
If an invention is not associated with treatment of male dysfunction, although it has the secondary purpose of such treatment, the invention does not suffer from the same stigma associated to the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
[0008] There is a need for a device which retracts and holds a retraction of the foreskin during sexual penile stimulation to expose the stretch-sensitive nerve endings of the foreskin. There is further need fora device which increases the length of the sliding interface of the penis and creates the appearance of a larger penis. Finally, there is need for an apparatus that retains blood in the penis in order to hold an erection, which does not suffer from the stigma associated with erectile dysfunction.
[0009] This background information is provided to reveal information believed by the applicant to be of possible relevance to the present invention. No admission is necessarily intended, nor should be construed, that any of the preceding information constitutes prior art against the present invention.
BRIEF SUMMARY
[0010] An object of the present disclosure is to provide a device that maintains the foreskin of the penis in a retracted state during intercourse or during alternate penile stimulation such as masturbation or fellatio. An aspect of the invention achieved this maintained retraction by drawing the scrotum, and thus foreskin back and away from the front of the torso. In accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure, it is provided that the head of the penis receives uninterrupted stimulation during the entire insertion stroke and the entire retraction stroke.
[0011] In accordance with another aspect of the present disclosure, it is provided that the effective length of the sliding interface between the shaft of the penis and the inner wall of the vagina or alternative stimulating object on any insertion or retraction stroke remains equal to the total length of said stroke, thereby:
(i) increasing the sensation of penile length;
(ii) increasing the sensation of penile girth, and;
(iii) increasing the amount of frictional stimulation for multiple partners during sexual intercourse.
[0012] In accordance with another aspect of the present disclosure, it is provided that the well-known stretch-sensitive nerve endings of the penile foreskin are stimulated by the retained retraction of the foreskin.
[0013] In accordance with another aspect of the present disclosure, it is provided that an erection will be maintained, more reliable and more rigid due to the blood retention function of the device.
[0014] In accordance with another aspect of the present disclosure, it is provided that there is a perception that the penis is of greater length by virtue of the fact that the scrotum is drawn rearward.
[0015] In accordance with another aspect of the present disclosure, it is provided that the stigma associated with the treatment of erectile dysfunction is relieved by offering treatment for such dysfunction through a device that has an alternate primary purpose.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Definitions
[0025] The term "sexual activity" is used to define any activity in which the penis is stimulated in a sexual way and may include, but is not limited to sexual intercourse, masturbation, fellatio and any other means of sexual stimulation.
[0026] The term "0-ring" is used to define the 0-shaped ring that fits over the penis of the man wearing the apparatus.
[0027] As used herein, the term "about" refers to a +/-10% variation from the nominal value. It is to be understood that such a variation is always included in a given value provided herein, whether or not it is specifically referred to.
[0028] Unless defined otherwise, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the artto which this invention belongs.
System Overview/Method Overview
[0029] The present disclosure relates to a device to be worn by a male during sexual activity comprising an 0-ring which fits snugly but not tightly over the shaft of the penis and encircles the base of the penis, which is connected to an attachment means that holds the 0-ring in place on the wearer.
[0030] Rearward tension is achieved by the attachment means once the user puts on the device. This tension is transferred onto the 0-ring which results in the scrotum being pulled rearward away from the front of the torso. Since the skin of the scrotum is continuous with the skin of the penis shaft, the rearward tension on the scrotum results in a tension on the skin of the penis.
This has the effect of retracting the foreskin and ensuring the foreskin remains retracted.
[0031] The tension provided by the device acts to retain the foreskin over prolonged periods of sexual activity. It prevents the foreskin from sliding back and forth during intercourse. This adequately exposes a larger portion of the stretch-sensitive nerves of the skin covering the penis. It also prevents the foreskin from covering and uncovering the head of the penis, increasing directfrictional stimulation of the head. There is increases stimulation of the sensitive glands which makes the penis feel longer going in and out, because of this additional friction.
[0032] By lifting the scrotum back and away from the front of the torso and keeping it retained in that position, the penis is also lifted away from the torso and retained in that position. This creates the perception of a longer penis.
[0033] Embodiments of the device stimulate the special stretch-sensitive nerve endings of the foreskin, which facilitates a stronger erection. It slows blood flow from the base of the penis, ensuring the erection starts. Embodiments of the device also engorge the soft surface flesh of the penis, making the penis look and feel thicker.
[0034] Figure 1 illustrates an embodiment of the invention. By drawing the scrotum, penis and foreskin downward and away from the front of the torso, such an apparatus can retract the foreskin of the wearer and maintain retraction of the foreskin throughout sexual activity.
[0035] In Figure 8, the invention attachment means forms a continuous elastic band that encircles the waistof the user, descendsthe buttocksand continues astwo strands that pass between the legsto join the 0-ring on either side of the scrotum. These two strands (1) shown hidden as dashed lines, create a rearward tension (2) which results in a continuous gentle tension or pulling of the ring (3) toward the base of the penis. Since the 0-ring (3) encircles the base of the penis, the rearward tension on the ring results in the scrotum being pulled rearward. Since the skin of the scrotum is continuous with the skin of the penis shaft, the rearward tension on the scrotum results in a tension on the skin of the penis (4). This has the dual effect of (a) ensuring the foreskin remains retracted and does not alternately slide forward and backward during intercourse and (b) directly stimulating the stretch-sensitive nerve endings of the foreskin and skin of the penis shaft Element 1 - 0-ring
[0036] The 0-ring is secured to the attachment means of the invention.
Rearward tension is achieved when the user puts on the device as is illustrated in Figures 3-6, and the 0-ring in combination with that attachment means retracts the foreskin by pulling the scrotum rearward away from the front of the torso. The 0-ring is, in this way, able to exert rearward tension, and maintain this tension on the skin covering the shaft of the penis. The foreskin is thereby held taut for the entire length of the penis shaft.
The 0-ring also prevents uncomfortable testicle "ride-up", in which the testicles move up to the pouches on either side of the penis and can get squashed between the user and their partners.
[0037] In one embodiment of the invention, it is contemplated that the rearward tension, so exerted, stimulates the stretch-sensitive nerves of the skin covering the penis. When the foreskin is retained, the stretch-sensitive nerves are exposed to stimulation. By prolonging foreskin retraction, the stretch-sensitive nerves remain exposed for the entirety of sexual activity. The wearer experiences greater stimulation of these sensitive nerves and thus greater sexual enjoyment.
[0038] It is contemplated that the rearward tension restrains the skin from sliding back and forth over the shaft of the penis during intercourse. By virtue of such restraint of the skin, it creates for both the man performing intercourse and his partner receiving intercourse, the sensation of a longer penis. It also prevents the glands of the penis from being partially or fully covered during portions of the intercourse stroke cycle.
[0039] It is contemplated that the rearward tension, by virtue of retracting the scrotum rearward, creates the appearance of a longer penis. As the scrotum is retracted downward and away from the front of the torso of the wearer, the penis is drawn away from the torso in the same way. This retraction pulls the erect penis into a position of a less acute angle in relation to the torso. This angle creates the appearance of a larger penis to an onlooker resulting in greater confidence levels for the wearer of the apparatus.
[0040] It is contemplated that the 0-ring ring exerts a mild compressive force at the base of the penis, partially restricting blood flow from the penis, resulting in a more reliable, harder and more lasting erection. It applies pressure to the dorsal veins, both the superficial dorsal and the deep dorsal.
The deep dorsal vein lies below the deep fascia and is somewhat protected from direct compression by virtue of its running parallel to and within the depression or valley created by the meeting of the two parallel corpus cavernosa. It also provides supportive pressure on the two corpus cavernosa helping to enable adequate compressiveforce.
[0041] It is further contemplated that the 0-ring is made of silicone in order to reduce the friction of the 0-ring on the skin of the wearer. However, the material of manufacture is not limited to silicone and the invention may be made of any other appropriate material contemplated by someone skilled in the art. The 0-ring may be made of the same, partially the same or different material as the material of the attachment means.
Element 2 - Attachment Means
[0042] In one embodiment of the invention, the attachment means may be comprised of a single slender band the ends of which are attached to either side of the 0-ring. The band may be worn by the wearer by passing it on either side of the scrotum toward back of the wearer, up the buttocks, around the waist and joins to itself in the front of the waist forming a continuous strand as in Figure 2.
[0043] It is contemplated that the attachment means may consist of two short strands attached to either side of the 0-ring which pass on either side of the scrotum and which attach to the inner thigh by means of adhesive ends.
[0044] It is further contemplated that the attachment means is made of silicone in order to reduce the friction of the attachment means on the skin of the wearer. However, the material of manufacture is not limited to silicone and the invention may be made of any other appropriate material contemplated by someone skilled in the art. Theattachment means may be made ofthe same, partially the same or different material as the material of the 0-ring.
