Abstract

Exemplary embodiments of wearable articles of clothing with a pouch are provided where the articles of clothing can be provided inside the pouch. For example, an apparatus can be provided including an article of clothing configured to be worn by a user, the article of clothing having an interior portion and an exterior visible portion when worn, and a pouch provided in the interior portion of the article of clothing, wherein the pouch is not visible when the article is worn, and the entire article of clothing can be provided inside the pouch. In some exemplary embodiments, footwear can be provided with a pouch inside the footwear where the pouch is removable and the footwear can be provided inside the pouch.

FIELD OF THE DISCLOSURE

[0002] The present disclosure relates to exemplary embodiments of articles that can be provided into a pouch, and more particularly, to exemplary embodiments of various wearable articles that can be provided into an attached pouch.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION

[0003] Clothing or other wearable articles are often lost because people can misplace the item or forget it when they take it off Variations in weather during the day also dictate the need for different types of clothing or other wearable articles. Therefore, there is a need for articles of clothing and other wearable articles that can be easily folded such that the article is portable and does not consume a lot of storage space.
SUMMARY OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS OF THE DISCLOSURE

[0004] At least some of the above described problems can be addressed by exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure. Exemplary embodiments of articles of clothing are provided that can be folded into an attached pouch.

[0005] In some exemplary embodiments, an apparatus is provided comprising an article of clothing configured to be worn by a user, the article of clothing having an interior portion and an exterior visible portion when worn, and a pouch provided in the interior portion of the article of clothing, wherein the pouch is not visible when the article is worn, and the entire article of clothing can be provided inside the pouch.

[0006] In some exemplary embodiments, the pouch can be integrated or sewn into the interior portion of the article of clothing. The pouch can be detachable from the interior portion of the article of clothing. The apparatus can further comprise a zipper configured to release the pouch from the interior portion of the article of clothing making the pouch detachable. The article of clothing can comprise one of an athletic shirt, a short-sleeve shirt, a long-sleeve shirt, a jacket, an adult nightshirt, a children's night gown, a cover up, a sarong and a sarong cover up.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS OF DISCLOSURE

[0027] The exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure can provide for various configurations of articles that can be incorporated into an attached pouch. In some exemplary embodiments, the articles can be clothing or other wearable items. The pouch can be integrated or sewn with the article, and preferably, where applicable, integrated in an inner portion of the article that is not visible when the article is worn. In some exemplary embodiments, the pouch can be detachable from the article. Exemplary embodiments of the various articles will now be described with reference to the figures. The following description of the various embodiments is merely exemplary in nature and is in no way intended to limit the scope of the disclosure, its application, or uses.

[0028] Figs. 1(a) ¨ 1(c) illustrate an athletic shirt that can be provided into a pouch according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The athletic shirt 10 can be any type of shirt, such as but not limited to a long sleeve or short sleeve or sleeveless shirt, with buttons or a zip, and can be of any size, such as small, medium or large, and can be of any length, such as a short, medium or long length. The athletic shirt 10 can have a pouch 12 that can be provided in an interior portion of the athletic shirt 10 (inner area) so that it is not visible when worn. The pouch 12 can be detachable and can have a zipper 14.
The athletic shirt 10 can be folded into the interior 16 of the pouch 12, as shown in Fig.
1(b). As shown in Fig. 1(c), the athletic shirt 10 can be provided completely within the pouch 12, which can be closed and easily held or carried for portability.

The adult nightshirt 20 can have a pouch 22 that can be provided in an interior portion of the adult nightshirt 20 (inner area) so that it is not visible when worn. The pouch 22 can be detachable and can have a zipper 24. The adult nightshirt 20 can be folded into the interior 26 of the pouch 22, as shown in Fig. 2(b). As shown in Fig. 2(c), the adult nightshirt 20 can be provided completely within the pouch 22, which can be closed and easily held or carried for portability. In some exemplary embodiments, the adult nightshirt 20 can have matching bottoms, such as pajamas, that can also be stored within the pouch 22. The bottoms can also be attached to the adult nightshirt 20 through various mechanisms, such as but not limited to Velcro , straps, clips, magnets or buttons.

[0030] Figs. 3(a) ¨ 3(c) illustrate a children's night gown that can be provided into a pouch according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The children's night gown 30 can have long sleeves, short sleeves or be sleeveless and can be of any size, such as small, medium or large, and any length, such as a short, medium or long length. The children's night gown 30 can have a pouch 32 that can be provided in an interior portion of the children's night gown 30 (inner area) so that it is not visible when worn. The pouch 32 can be detachable and can have a zipper 34. The children's night gown 30 can be folded into the interior 36 of the pouch 32, as shown in Fig. 3(b). As shown in Fig. 3(c), the children's night gown 30 can be provided completely within the pouch 32, which can be closed and easily held or carried for portability. In some exemplary embodiments, the children's night gown 30 can have matching bottoms (not shown), such as pajamas, that can also be stored within the pouch 32. The bottoms can also be attached to the children's night gown 30 through various mechanisms, such as but not limited to Velcro , straps, clips, magnets or buttons.

[0031] Figs. 4(a) ¨ 4(f) illustrate footwear that can be provided into a pouch according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. Although flip flops 40, 41 are shown as the footwear, the footwear can be any type and size of footwear, such as but not limited to shoes, loafers, or open footwear such as sandals or slippers. Footwear 40 can have a rear portion 43 that is configured to open as shown in Fig. 4(b). The rear portion 43 can have a zip or other opening/closing mechanisms that can be opened. A pouch 42 can be provided within the opening 44 of the rear portion 43. The pouch 42 can be extended out of the rear portion 43 as shown in Fig. 4(c) and can be detachable. In some exemplary embodiments, the footwear 40 can be configured to open at a front portion or side portion, and the pouch 42 can be provided within that portion. As shown in Fig. 4(d), footwear 41 can be stacked under footwear 40.

As shown in Fig. 4(e), the footwear 40, 41 can be provided within the pouch 42, until the entire portion of the footwear 40, 41 are inserted within the pouch 42, as shown in Fig. 4(f).
The pouch 42 can be sealed or closed by various mechanisms, such as by a zipper, drawstring, buttons, snaps, Velcro or other mechanism to keep the footwear 40, 41 within the pouch 42. The pouch 42 can easily be held or carried for portability.

[0032] Figs. 5(a) ¨ 5(e) illustrate slippers that can be provided into a pouch according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The slippers 50, 51 can be any type and size of footwear, such as but not limited to slippers, shoes, flip flops, loafers or sandals.
Slipper 50 can have a slot 53 provided within a side portion 54 that is configured to open as shown in Fig. 5(b). The slot 53 can be provided on either side or location of the slipper and is not limited to any location. A pouch 52 can be provided within the slot 53 of slipper 50 and be withdrawn from the slot 53, and can be detachable. As shown in Fig. 5(c), slipper 51 can be stacked under slipper 50. As shown in Fig. 5(d), the slippers 50, 51 can be provided within the pouch 52, until the entire portion of the slippers 50, 51 are inserted within the pouch 52, as shown in Fig. 5(e). The pouch 52 can be sealed or closed by various mechanisms, such as by a zipper, drawstring, buttons, snaps, Velcro or other mechanism to keep the slippers 50, 51 within the pouch 52. The pouch 52 can easily be held or carried for portability.

[0033] Figs. 6(a) ¨ 6(d) illustrate a cover up that can be provided into a pouch according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The cover up 60 can have long sleeves, short sleeves, be sleeveless or have spaghetti straps, and can be of any size, such as small, medium or large, and can be of any length, such as a short, medium or long length. The cover up 60 can have a pouch 62 that can be provided in an interior portion of the cover up 60 (inner area) so that it is not visible when worn. The pouch 62 can have a zipper 64. In some exemplary embodiments, the pouch 62 can be detachable from the cover up 60, as shown in Fig. 6(b), using Velcro 65 or some other securing mechanism. The cover up 60 can be folded into the interior 66 of the pouch 62, as shown in Fig. 6(c). As shown in Fig. 6(d), the cover up 60 can be provided completely within the pouch 62, which can be closed and easily held or carried for portability.

[0034] Figs. 7(a) ¨ 7(d) illustrate a sarong that can be provided into a pouch according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The sarong 70 can be of any size, such as small, medium or large, and can have any length, such as a short, medium or long length, and can have any design. The sarong 70 can have a pouch 72 that can be provided in an interior portion of the sarong 70 (inner area) so that it is not visible when worn. The pouch 72 can have a zipper 74. In some exemplary embodiments, the pouch 72 can be detachable from the sarong 70, as shown in Fig. 7(b), using Velcro 75 or some other securing mechanism. The sarong 70 can be folded into the interior 76 of the pouch 72, as shown in Fig.
7(c). As shown in Fig. 7(d), the sarong 70 can be provided completely within the pouch 72, which can be closed and easily held or carried for portability. In some exemplary embodiments, the sarong 72 can have extended portions (not shown) that can be lifted to tie the sarong 72 around a user's neck and have a front portion covering the user's torso.

[0035] Figs. 8(a) ¨ 8(d) illustrate a sarong cover up that can be provided into a pouch according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The sarong cover up 80 can be of any size, such as small, medium or large, and can have any length, such as a short, medium or long length. The sarong cover up 80 can also be short or long sleeved or have one sleeve. The sarong cover up 80 can have a pouch 82 that can be provided in an interior portion of the sarong cover up 80 (inner area) so that it is not visible when worn. The pouch 82 can have a zipper 84. In some exemplary embodiments, the sarong cover up 80 can have portions 81(a) and 81(b) that form an outer layer on the sarong cover up 80, and can be raised and connected at a top portion to form a cover up, as shown in Fig. 8(b). The portions 81(a) and 81(b) can be connected through any securing means, such as by a zipper, clips, buttons, snaps, Velcro or other mechanism. In some exemplary embodiments, the pouch 82 can be detachable from the sarong cover up 80, using Velcro 85 or some other securing mechanism. The sarong cover up 80 can be folded into the interior 86 of the pouch 82, as shown in Fig. 8(c). As shown in Fig. 8(d), the sarong cover up 80 can be provided completely within the pouch 82, which can be closed and easily held or carried for portability.

The shawl 90 can have any length, such as a short, medium or long length, and any width. The shawl 90 can have a pouch 92 that can be provided on an inner side of the shawl 90 so that it is not visible when worn. The pouch 92 can have a zipper 94. In some exemplary embodiments, the pouch 92 can be detachable from the shawl 90, as shown in Fig. 9(b), using Velcro 95 or some other securing mechanism. The shawl 90 can be folded into the interior 96 of the pouch 92, as shown in Fig.
9(c). As shown in Fig. 9(d), the shawl 90 can be provided completely within the pouch 92, which can be closed and easily held or carried for portability.

[0037] Figs. 10(a) ¨ 10(d) illustrate a team sign that can be provided into a pouch according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The team sign 100 can have any length and width. The team sign 100 can have a logo 101, which can be a team name, team logo, team sign or slogan that is visible on one side of the team sign 100.
The team sign 100 can have a pouch 102 that can be provided on an opposite side of the team sign 100. The pouch 102 can have a zipper 104, and can be detachable. The team sign 100 can be folded into the interior 106 of the pouch 102, as shown in Fig. 10(c). As shown in Fig. 10(d), the team sign 100 can be provided completely within the pouch 102, which can be closed and easily held or carried for portability.

The child's grow pajamas 110 can be of any size, such as small, medium or large, and of any length, such as a short, medium or long length, and can have long sleeves, short sleeves or be sleeveless. The child's grow pajamas 110 can have a pouch 112 that can be provided in an interior portion of the child's grow pajamas 110 (inner area) so that it is not visible when worn. The pouch 112 can be detachable, and can have a zipper 114. The child's grow pajamas 110 can be folded into the interior 116 of the pouch 112, as shown in Fig. 11(b). As shown in Fig.
11(c), the child's grow pajamas 110 can be provided completely within the pouch 112, which can be closed and easily held or carried for portability. In some exemplary embodiments, the child's grow pajamas 110 can have extensions 118 for, e.g., the sleeves and length of the shirt, to add to the child's grow pajamas 110 when the child grows. These can be added through various securing mechanisms, such as but not limited to Velcro , straps, clips, magnets or buttons.
In some exemplary embodiments, the child's grow pajamas 110 can have matching bottoms, such as pajamas, that can also be stored within the pouch 32. The bottoms can also be attached to the child's grow pajamas through various mechanisms, such as but not limited to Velcro , straps, clips, magnets or buttons. The bottoms can also have extensions for, e.g., the leg portions of the pajamas for when the child grows.

[0039] Figs. 12(a) ¨ 12(d) illustrate fingerless mittens that can be provided into a pouch according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The fingerless mittens 121, 122 can be any type of handwear, such as but not limited to mittens or gloves, which may or may not have portions to cover fingers. Mitten 121 can have a slot 123 provided within a side portion 124 that is configured to open as shown in Fig. 12(a). The slot 123 can be provided on either side or location of the mitten 121 and is not limited to any location. An opening 125 can be provided within the slot 123 of mitten 121. As shown in Fig. 12(b), mitten 122 can be stacked under mitten 121. As shown in Fig. 12(c), the mitten 122 can be provided within the opening 125 of mitten 121, until the entire mitten 122 is provided within the opening 125 of mitten 121, as shown in Fig. 12(d). The mitten 121 can be a pouch and can easily be held or carried for portability. In some exemplary embodiments, mitten 121 can have a clip 126 to attach it to, e.g., a bag or purse (not shown). The slot 123 can be sealed or closed by various mechanisms (not shown), such as by a zipper, drawstring, buttons, snaps, Velcro or other mechanism to keep the mitten 122 within the opening 125 of mitten 121.

[0040] Figs. 13(a) ¨ 13(d) illustrate gloves that can be provided into a pouch according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The gloves 131, 132 can be any type of handwear, such as but not limited to mittens or gloves, which may or may not have portions to cover fingers. Glove 131 can have a slot 133 provided within a side portion 134 that is configured to open as shown in Fig. 13(a). The slot 133 can be provided on either side or location of the glove 131 and is not limited to any location. An opening 135 can be provided within the slot 133 of glove 131. As shown in Fig. 13(b), glove 132 can be stacked under glove 131. As shown in Fig. 13(c), the glove 132 can be provided within the opening 135 of glove 131, until the entire glove 132 is provided within the opening 135 of glove 131, as shown in Fig. 13(d). The glove 131 can be a pouch and can easily be held or carried for portability. In some exemplary embodiments, glove 131 can have a clip 136 to attach it to, e.g., a bag or purse (not shown). The slot 133 can be sealed or closed by various mechanisms (not shown), such as by a zipper, drawstring, buttons, snaps, Velcro or other mechanism to keep the glove 132 within the opening 135 of glove 131.

[0041] Figs. 14(a) ¨ 14(c) illustrate a cover up/sarong combination that can be provided into a pouch according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The cover up/sarong combination 140 can have any be of any size, such as small, medium or large, and of any length, such as a short, medium or long length. The cover up/sarong combination 140 can have a pouch 142 that can be provided on an inner side of the cover up/sarong combination 140 so that it is not visible when worn. The pouch 142 can have a zipper 144.
In some exemplary embodiments, the pouch 142 can be detachable from the cover up/sarong combination 140, using Velcro or some other securing mechanism. The cover up 140 can be folded into the interior 146 of the pouch 142, as shown in Fig. 14(b). As shown in Fig.
14(c), the cover up/sarong combination 140 can be provided completely within the pouch 142, which can be closed and easily held or carried for portability. In some exemplary embodiments, top arms loops 146 and 148 can be provided to provide a cover up portion, that can be lifted up to tie around a user's neck. In some exemplary embodiments, the top arm loops 146, 148 can be used to tie the sarong around a user's waist. In some exemplary embodiments, the cover up/sarong combination 140 can also be used as a scarf or blanket.

[0042] Figs. 15(a) ¨ 15(c) illustrate a scarf with earmuffs that can be provided into a pouch according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. The scarf 150 can have any length, such as a short, medium or long length, and any width. In some exemplary embodiments, the scarf 150 can have attached earmuffs 158. The scarf 150 can have a pouch 152 that can be provided on an inner side of the scarf 150 so that it is not visible when worn.
In some exemplary embodiments, the pouch 152 can run the length of the scarf such that the scarf itself can be the pouch 152. In some exemplary embodiments, a pocket can be provided within the scarf allowing the earmuffs to be placed inside the pocket when not in use, which can be sealed or left open. The pouch 152 can have a zipper 154. In some exemplary embodiments, the pouch 152 can be detachable from the scarf 150, using Velcro or some other securing mechanism. The scarf 150 can be folded into the interior 156 of the pouch 152, as shown in Fig. 15(b). The earmuffs 158 can also be inserted into the interior 156 of the pouch 152. As shown in Fig. 15(c), the scarf 150 and earmuffs 158 can be provided completely within the pouch 152, which can be closed and easily held or carried for portability. In some exemplary embodiments, the scarf 150 can be an infinity scarf that can go over a user's head, or the scarf 150 can be opened via snaps, buttons, Velcro or some other mechanism to fit around the neck without having to go over the user's head. In some exemplary embodiments, the earmuffs 158 can detach from the scarf 150 or the straps attached to the scarf 150 via loops, Velcro , snaps, or any other kind of attaching mechanism.

[0043] Various modifications can be provided on the various wearable articles above and the pouch. For example, the pouch can be detachable from the wearable articles through various means, such as by using Velcro , buttons, clips, magnets, or other mechanisms, and can then be utilized separately for, e.g., holding various items like money, credit cards, identification, etc. The pouches can be made of various sizes so as to accommodate just the wearable articles, or extra articles. For example, the shirts or tops can include a size of a pouch that would hold the bottom or pajamas. The pouches of the sarongs or cover ups can include a pouch that would hold a bathing suit. The pouches are not limited to any position or location on the wearable article and can be provided in a multitude of locations.
Preferably, the location can be provided where the pouch would not be visible when the article is worn. The pouches can be sealed or closed using any mechanism, such as a zip, buttons, clips, Velcro or other mechanism. The wearable articles are not limited to any particular article, and the pouch can be provided within various wearable articles or non-wearable articles, such as but not limited to hats, ponchos, rain coats, jackets, scarves, shawls, gloves, bandanas, sports rags, sarongs, cover ups, skirts, dresses, t-shirts, shirts, pants, night shirts, pajamas, slippers, shoes, sandals, cases for eyeglasses and sunglasses, surgical caps, fitted covers for barbecue grills, baby carrier covers specially adapted for baby carriers worn on the body, backpacks, beach bags, carry-on bags, carry-all bags, cosmetic bags, handbags, pocketbooks, pouch baby carriers, purses, sports bags, umbrella covers, portable beds, air mattresses, household containers, lunch bags, oven mitts, portable coolers, netting, tents, blankets, comforters, kitchen linens, tablecloths, table linen, mosquito nets, towels, cloth banners, aprons, baby booties, bandanas, bathing suits, bibs, wedding veils, infant wearable blankets, burkas, veiling, Keffiyeh, headdress, handkerchiefs, caps, earmuffs, headbands, hats, head scarf, jackets, knit face masks, shorts, dresses, vests, socks, undergarments, toy and novelty face masks, pareos, ponchos, scarves, shawls, sleepwear, tops, underwear, headwear, footwear, flip flops, beach coverups and hoods, bathing suits for men, women and children, and dog products and accessories (e.g., dog jackets, shirts, dresses, covers, sweaters, etc.). In embodiments such as gloves, sandals or shoes where there are multiple pieces, a pouch can be provided on each of the items, or it could be provided on a single item where the pouch would be large enough to incorporate two items (e.g., a pouch on a single glove that can hold both gloves).

The wearable articles can be made of various materials, such as a water proof, water resistant, light reflective, solar, color changing, UV protective, glow in the dark, heat resistant, breathable and/or repellent material. The material utilized for the fabric to make the wearable articles and/or the pouch can be of any weight and can be delicate and flexible to be durable, foldable and tear resistant. For example, the various wearable articles and pouch can be made of one or more of nylon, polyester, cotton, paper, microfiber, suede and vinyl. Various designs and patterns can be provided on the material used for the wearable articles and the pouch, and additional materials or designs such as frill, lace and/or sequin can be provided.
The wearable articles can be reversible, and can be made of any size for adults or children.

Velcro or other attachment material, such as snaps or other fasteners, can be used in various portions of the wearable articles. The wearable articles and/or pouch can have an attachment mechanism such as a hook, strap, clip or other mechanical attachment to connect to or be part of, e.g., keychains, belt buckles, backpacks, suitcases, luggage, briefcases, handbags, purses, golf bags, sports bag, beach bags, travel bags, travel cases, toothbrush travel cases, lunchboxes, makeup cases, jackets, clothing, umbrellas, shoes, books, strollers, hiking gear, military equipment, tool boxes, dog chains, pet chains, sports merchandise, souvenirs, or other apparel or equipment. Claims (14)

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:

1. An apparatus comprising:
an article of clothing configured to be worn by a user, the article of clothing having an interior portion and an exterior visible portion when worn; and a pouch provided in the interior portion of the article of clothing, wherein the pouch is not visible when the article is worn, and the entire article of clothing can be provided inside the pouch.

2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the pouch is integrated or sewn into the interior portion of the article of clothing.

3. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the pouch is detachable from the interior portion of the article of clothing.

4. The apparatus of claim 3, further comprising a zipper configured to release the pouch from the interior portion of the article of clothing making the pouch detachable.

5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the article of clothing comprises one of an athletic shirt, a short-sleeve shirt, a long-sleeve shirt, a jacket, an adult nightshirt, a children's night gown, a cover up, a sarong and a sarong cover up.

6. An apparatus comprising:
a first footwear configured to be worn by a user, the first footwear having an upper portion for a user's foot and a bottom portion;

a closeable opening provided between the upper portion and the bottom portion;
and a pouch provided within the closeable opening and extendable from the closeable opening, wherein the entire first footwear can be provided inside the pouch.

7. The apparatus of claim 6, further comprising a second footwear that can be provided inside the pouch.

8. The apparatus of claim 7, wherein the first and second footwear comprise sandals.

9. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the closeable opening is provided at a rear portion of the first footwear.

10. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the pouch is detachable from the first footwear.

11. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the closeable opening is closed and opened using a zipper.

12. An apparatus comprising:
a first slipper;
a second slipper;
a slot provided in the first slipper; and a pouch provided within the slot and extendable from the slots, wherein the first and second slippers can be provided inside the pouch.

13. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the slot is provided at a side portion of the first slipper.

14. The apparatus of claim 12, wherein the pouch is detachable from the first slipper.
