Les méthodes décrites présentent lavantage de ne pas nécessiter denzymes de thermocyclage ou thermophiles offrant ainsi une mise en uvre facile et abordable ainsi quune portabilité par rapport à dautres méthodes damplification. La description porte aussi sur des conditions permettant le contrôle en temps réel de réactions ARP, des méthodes de régulation des réactions ARP au moyen de lumière et autres, des méthodes de détermination de la nature des espèces amplifiées sans nécessiter délectrophorèse sur gel, des méthodes damélioration et doptimisation des rapports signal/bruit dans les réactions ARP, des méthodes doptimisation de la fonction damorces oligonucléotidiques, des méthodes de lutte contre la contamination par recirculation et des méthodes dutilisation de troisièmes sondes de « spécificité » spécifiques à des séquences. La description porte aussi sur de nouvelles propriétés et approches pour lutilisation de sondes contrôlées par la lumière dans des environnements de recombinaison dynamique.
