Abstract

La présente invention porte sur un outil de type clé qui utilise une pluralité de caractéristiques de mise en prise pour transférer de manière efficace un couple à un élément de fixation afin de faire tourner ledit élément de fixation. L'outil de type clé comprend un corps d'outil dynamométrique de type clé. Le corps d'outil dynamométrique de type clé est la structure physique utilisée pour appliquer une force de couple sur le dispositif de fixation et comprend une pluralité de parois latérales internes et une pluralité de dents de mise en prise. La pluralité de parois latérales internes est radialement répartie autour d'un axe de pivotement du corps d'outil dynamométrique de type clé. Chaque dent de la pluralité de dents de mise en prise est reliée de manière adjacente à une paroi latérale correspondante de la pluralité de parois latérales internes afin de venir directement en contact avec les parois latérales du dispositif de fixation. Pour augmenter la surface de contact totale avec le dispositif de fixation, une altitude prismatique pour chaque dent de la pluralité de dents de mise en prise est alignée parallèlement à l'axe de pivotement. En outre, chaque dent de la pluralité de dents de mise en prise est orientée vers l'axe de pivotement.
