Abstract
The present invention improves the sintered density of a sintered body of a TiAl intermetallic compound. In this method for producing a sintered body of a TiAl intermetallic compound, a TiAl powder containing a TiAl intermetallic compound in which Ti and Al are bonded and an additional metal is sintered and a sintered body of the TiAl intermetallic compound is produced. The additional metal is Ni or Ni and Fe.
