Abstract

A plastic, one-piece collection indicator device that can be installed on all types of domestic wheeled bins with one or more handles incorporating a system of hinges for the lid. The collection indicator makes it possible to tell, with just a glance, whether the wheeled bin has been emptied by the truck. It can be installed on the handle of the bin quickly, easily and without tools. The collection indicator has an anti-theft locking system that makes it harder for criminals to remove it. When the bin is brought to the curb for collection, the collection indicator is pushed against the lid of the bin. When the bin is being emptied by the truck, the collection indicator is pushed back vertically by the opening of the lid. It maintains this position when the bin is returned to the ground, letting its owner know that the truck went by.

Description L'invention concerne un indicateur de collecte pour tous types de bacs roulants domestiques muni d'une ou de plusieurs poignée(s) de manutention incorporant un système de charnières pour le couvercle. Installé à la poignée du bac roulant domestique, l'indicateur de collecte permet à son propriétaire de savoir d'un simple coup d'oeil si son bac roulant a été vidé, ou non, par le camion de collecte. Combien de fois vous est-il arrivé de vous rendre à votre bac roulant domestique en croyant que ce dernier a été vidé par le camion pour finalement vous rendre compte que ce dernier n'était pas encore passé? L'invention concerne un indicateur de collecte s'installant à la poignée de manutention d'un bac roulant domestique pourvu d'un système de charnière de couvercle incorporé à la poignée. Installé sur la poignée de manutention du bac roulant, l'indicateur de collecte peut pivoter librement sur la poignée mais avec une légère restriction. Afin de bien comprendre le fonctionnement de l'indicateur de collecte, je dois tout d'abord expliquer en premier lieu le mouvement du bac roulant domestique lors de l'opération de transbordement. Lors de l'opération de transbordement par le camion, le bac roulant fait une rotation de 180 degrés par rapport à sa position d'origine, alors que le couvercle fait, en s'ouvrant, une rotation d'environ 90 degrés par rapport au bac roulant. Lorsque le camion redépose le bac roulant au sol, le couvercle se referme par l'effet de la gravité. Connaissant maintenant les étapes de transbordement d'un bac roulant domestique, voici comment fonctionne l'indicateur de collecte 20 et son interaction avec le couvercle du bac roulant 24. Lorsque que le propriétaire du bac roulant place ce dernier au bord de la route, il positionne l'extrémité de l'indicateur contre le couvercle du bac roulant. Lors du transbordement, le mouvement du couvercle repousse l'indicateur de collecte de 90 degrés de sa position d'origine. Donc, lorsque le camion redépose le bac roulant au sol, le couvercle se referme par l'effet de la gravité mais l'indicateur de collecte demeure en position relevé. La position relevée de l'indicateur signal alors à son propriétaire que la collecte a bien eu lieu. De matière plastique, mono-pièce, l'indicateur de collecte est installé à la poignée de manutention du bac roulant en exerçant une simple pression d'un système de clip de fixation intégré à l'indicateur de collecte. Une fois enclanché, le clip de fixation crée un léger serrage sur la poignée faisant en sorte que lorsque l'on fait pivoter l'indicateur de collecte, ce dernier maintient sa position. Afin d'éviter le vol de l'indicateur de collecte, un système de verrouillage est incorporé à
ce dernier. Il consiste en une languette munie d'une charnière déformable et d'un crochet qui est cliqué
sur un dispositif d'ancrage situé à l'extrémité du clip de fixation. Afin de verrouiller l'indicateur de collecte, il suffit d'abaisser la languette contre le système d'ancrage et d'appliquer une pression sur le repère de poussée. Lors de l'enclenchement de la languette, le crochet de la languette vient s'appuyer contre une butée de blocage. En relâchant la poussée, le crochet de la languette se bloque dans le système d'ancrage. De plus, la butée de blocage située à
l'extrémité du clip de fixation et près du système d'ancrage rend encore plus difficile l'opération de retrait de l'indicateur de collecte par des malfaiteurs. Tous ces items font partie intégrante de l'indicateur de collecte.
Étant donné l'interaction entre l'indicateur de collecte et le bac roulant domestique, il est important de noter que certaines figures ont été incluses au document afin de faciliter la compréhension du fonctionnement de l'indicateur de collecte. Description The invention relates to a collection indicator for all types of bins domestic wheels fitted with one or more handling handle (s) incorporating a hinges for the cover. Installed on the handle of the domestic wheeled bin, the collection indicator allows its owner to know at a glance whether his wheeled bin has been emptied, or no, by the collection truck. How many times has it happened to you return to your bac domestic vehicle believing that it was emptied by the truck to finally you realize that the latter had not yet passed? The invention relates to a indicator collection system installed on the handling handle of a wheeled bin domestic provided with a lid hinge system incorporated in the handle. Referring to the drawings of FIGs. 1,2 and 3 it will be seen that the collection 20 has a curved part, the indicator arm 26 allows the indicator to get the

La butée de blocage 42 consiste en un muret bloquant l'accès au crochet 36 de la languette de fermeture 32 et rendant ainsi très difficile le retrait de l'indicateur de collecte 20 de la poignée de manutention 44 du bac roulant domestique 22.
A la FIG.4, nous pouvons voir l'indicateur de collecte 20 installé sur la poignée de manutention 44 du bac roulant domestique 22. Pour bien comprendre l'installation de l'indicateur de collecte au bac roulant domestique, se référer aux FIGs.7A,7B,7C,7D,7E.
Pour son installation, l'indicateur de collecte 20 est inséré sur la poignée de manutention 44 du bac roulant par l'ouverture entre le crochet 36 de la languette de fermeture 32 et le dispositif d'ancrage 34. Afin d'encliqueter l'indicateur de collecte sur la poignée de manutention 44, une pression est exercée sur le clip de fixation 28 jusqu'à
l'obtention d'un clic . La languette de fermeture 32 est par la suite abaissée contre le dispositif d'ancrage 34. Afin de bien comprendre le fonctionnement de l'indicateur de collecte, je me dois de vous expliquer les étapes de transbordement d'un bac roulant domestique lorsque ce dernier est vidé par le camion (voir FIG.11). Lors de l'opération de transbordement par le camion, le bac roulant domestique est soulevé par l'appareil de transbordement du camion 46 au niveau du corps principal 22 puis retourner afin de le vider de son contenu. Le bac roulant fait alors une rotation de a égal à 180 degrés par rapport à sa position d'origine, tandis que le couvercle 24 fait, en s'ouvrant, une rotation de p égal à 90 degrés par rapport au bac roulant.
Une fois vidé de son contenu le camion redépose le bac roulant au sol, ce qui a pour effet de refermer le couvercle par gravité. Connaissant maintenant les étapes de transbordement d'un bac roulant domestique, voici comment fonctionne l'indicateur de collecte 20 et son interaction avec le couvercle du bac roulant 24. Lorsque le propriétaire du bac roulant dépose celui-ci au bord de la route en prévision de la collecte, il fait pivoter l'indicateur de collecte 20 et appui l'extrémité de l'indicateur 30 contre le couvercle du bac roulant 24 tel que montré aux à la FIGs.5 et 8. Lors du transbordement, le couvercle du bac roulant 24 s'ouvre de 90 degrés tout en repoussant l'indicateur de collecte 20 de 90 degrés. Une fois vidé de son contenu, le bac roulant est redéposé au sol, le couvercle du bac roulant 24 se referme par gravité. mais l'indicateur de collecte 20 demeure en position relevée. Les FIGs.6 et 9 montrent l'indicateur en position relevée une fois l'opération de transbordement complété. Lorsque le propriétaire retourne chercher le bac roulant au bord de la route, il bascule l'indicateur de collecte 20 contre le corps principal du bac 22. Par cet action l'indicateur de collecte sera complètement désactivé (voir FIG.10);
l'indicateur de collecte 20 demeure appuyer contre la paroi arrière du bac roulant 22, sous la poignée 44, jusqu'à la prochaine collecte. Quoique l'indicateur de collecte pour bac roulant domestique demeure un dispositif très fiable, certaines conditions pourrait affecter son bon fonctionnement. En effet le verglas pourrait faire en sorte que l'indicateur reste collé au couvercle du bac roulant.
Ou alors de forts vents soulevant momentanément le couvercle indiquant faussement que la collecte par le camion a eu lieu.
Résumé de l'invention Un indicateur de collecte 20, mono-pièce et de matière plastique, destiné à
être installé au bac roulant 22 domestique au niveau de la poignée de manutention 44 et indiquant à son propriétaire, d'un simple coup d'oeil, que le bac roulant a été vidé ou non par le camion de collecte. L'indicateur de collecte 20 est actionné par le mouvement du couvercle 24 du bac roulant 22 domestique lors de l'opération de transbordement par le camion de collecte.
L'indicateur de collecte 20 se divise en trois éléments: le clip de fixation 28, le système de verrouillage anti-vol et le bras de l'indicateur 26. Ces trois éléments font partie intégrante de l'indicateur de collecte 20.
Le clip de fixation 28 comprend :
- un anneau en forme de "C" servant à l'installation de l'indicateur de collecte 20 par encliquetage à la poignée de manutention 44 du bac roulant 22 domestique.
Grace à un ajustement serré entre le clip de fixation 28 et ladite poignée, l'indicateur de collecte 20 peut pivoter librement mais avec une légère restriction. Cette restriction permet à
l'indicateur de collecte 20 de garder sa position à la fin de l'opération de transbordement par le camion de collecte.
- Un dispositif d'ancrage 34 qui consiste en un crochet inversé par rapport au crochet 36 de la languette de fermeture 32, son rôle est d'arrimer cette dernière.
- Une butée de blocage 42 située près du dispositif d'ancrage 34 qui consiste en un muret bloquant l'accès au crochet 36 de la languette de fermeture 32 et rendant ainsi très difficile le retrait de l'indicateur de collecte 20 de la poignée de manutention 44 du bac roulant 22 domestique.
Le système de verrouillage anti-vol comprend :
- une languette de fermeture 32 recourbée munie d'un crochet 36 inversé par rapport au crochet du dispositif d'ancrage 34.

- Un repère de poussée 40 situé au centre de la languette de fermeture 32 est destiné
à guider le pouce lors de l'opération de fermeture du système de verrouillage anti-vol.
- Une charnière déformable 38 relie la languette de fermeture 32 au clip de fixation 28.
Ladite charnière se recourbe par déformation mécanique lors de l'opération de fermeture du système de verrouillage anti-vol.
Le bras de l'indicateur 26 comprend :
- une section recourbée tangente au clip de fixation 28 signalant au propriétaire du bac roulant 22 domestique que le transbordement par le camion de collecte a eu lieu ou non.
- L'extrémité du bras de l'indicateur 30 est destinée à être appuyée contre le couvercle 24 du bac roulant 22 domestique lorsque ce dernier est apporté au bord de la route en vue de la prochaine collecte par le camion. La fonction de cette extrémité est de récupérer le mouvement du couvercle lors de l'opération de transbordement du camion de collecte. Ainsi le bras reste en position verticale lorsque le bac roulant est redéposé au sol après le transbordement, cette position indique au propriétaire du bac que la collecte a eu lieu, il peut alors récupérer le bac et le ranger.
Pour son installation, l'indicateur de collecte 20 est inséré sur la poignée de manutention 44 du bac roulant 22 domestique par l'ouverture entre le crochet 36 de la languette de fermeture 32 et le dispositif d'ancrage 34. Afin d'encliqueter l'indicateur de collecte sur la poignée, une pression est exercée sur le clip de fixation 28 jusqu'à l'obtention d'un clic . La languette de fermeture 32 est par la suite abaissée contre le dispositif d'ancrage 34.
Une pression est appliquée sur la languette de fermeture 32 au niveau du repère de poussée 40 jusqu'à
l'obtention d'un autre clic . Le crochet 36 de la languette de fermeture 32 vient alors s'appuyer contre la butée de blocage 42. En relâchant la pression de la poussée, le crochet 36 de la languette de fermeture 32 vient s'emboité dans le dispositif d'ancrage 34. La butée de blocage 42 consiste en un muret bloquant l'accès au crochet 36 de la languette de fermeture 32 et rendant ainsi très difficile le retrait de l'indicateur de collecte 20 de la poignée de manutention 44 du bac roulant domestique 22. Étant non requis entre les collectes, l'indicateur de collecte 20 peut être désactivé. Pour ce faire ce dernier est basculé contre la paroi arrière du bac roulant 22 domestique. Par cette action, le couvercle dudit bac pourra être ouvert sans pour autant activer l'indicateur de collecte 20. Lorsque le bac roulant 22 domestique est apporté au bord de la route par son propriétaire en vue de la prochaine collecte, l'indicateur de collecte 20 est pivoté jusqu'à ce que l'extrémité du bras 30 soit en contact avec le couvercle 24 dudit bac. Lors de l'opération de transbordement du bac roulant domestique 22 par le camion de collecte, le couvercle 24 dudit bac s'ouvre de 90 degrés, par cette action, le couvercle repousse également l'indicateur de collecte 20 de 90 degrés.
Une fois vidé de son contenu, ledit bac est redéposé au sol et le couvercle 24 se referme par gravité, cependant l'indicateur de collecte 20 demeure en position verticale indiquant à
son propriétaire que le transbordement a eu lieu. Lors de la récupération du bac roulant domestique 22 par son propriétaire, ce dernier bascule l'indicateur de collecte 20 contre la paroi arrière du bac roulant 22, désactivant ainsi celui-ci jusqu'au prochain jour de collecte.
D'autres objets et champs d'application de la présente invention se dégageront de la présente description au fur et à mesure qu'une personne versée dans l'Art prendra connaissance des divers aspects de l'invention. Les présentes descriptions, aussi détaillées soient-elles, ne présentent que des applications préférées de l'invention et ne sont données qu'à titre d'illustration. Il est entendu que toute personne ingénieuse et expérimentée dans le domaine pourra y apporter divers changements et adaptations et ce, sans que l'application réalisée ne sorte de la portée de la présente invention. Il est bien entendu que le mode de réalisation de la présente invention qui a été décrite ci-dessus, en référence aux dessins annexés, a été donné à titre indicatif et nullement limitatif, et que des modifications et adaptations peuvent être apportées sans que l'objet ne s'écarte pour autant du cadre de la présente invention.

2. The collection indicator device of claim 1 wherein a hinge deformable (38) connects said closure tab (32) to said clip fixing (28), said hinge bends by mechanical deformation during the operation of closure of said anti-theft locking system.

The collection indicator device according to any one of claims 1 to 4 wherein after said collection said owner rocks said arm of said indicator of collection (20) against the rear wall of said container rolling against a body main of said tank (22), this position deactivates said collection indicator until the next day collection.
