Description

A UREA INJECTION APPARATUS FOR EXHAUST POST-TREATMENT OF DIESEL ENGINE
Technical Field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of post-treatment of nitrogen and oxygen emissions of internal combustion engine, in particular, to a urea injection apparatus for exhaust post-treatment of diesel engine.
Background
[0002] On the basis that selective catalyst reaction technology in diesel engine exhaust post treatment has good fuel economy; can use a common post treatment apparatus while meeting the European stage IV and European stage V emission standards; and is not sensitive to the sulfur content of the fuel etc., the selective catalytic reduction system is allowed to become a main technical means for diesel engine, which meets European stage IV and European stage V emission standards. However, at present, SCR
(selective catalyst reaction) system ejects urea solution containing 32.5% of urea, and the urea solution is stored as a mixture. When stored for long periods of time, the urea solution may deteriorate and cause uneven variation in solution concentration. Furthermore, during the de-icing-heating process for the urea solution, the solution would cause issues such as urea decomposition.
Summary of the Invention
[0003] To solve above problem, the purpose of the present invention is to provide an externally-mixed urea injection apparatus for exhaust gas post-treatment of diesel engines capable of storing urea powder and water separately. The technical solutions are as follows:
A urea injection apparatus for exhaust post-treatment of diesel engine, comprising an injection apparatus body including a housing and a powder cavity provided with a powder inlet and a powder injection outlet, the powder injection outlet being provided with a needle valve; the housing being sleeved outside of the powder cavity and a conical surface water spray channel is disposed between an outer wall of the powder injection outlet and the housing, a water inlet ring groove being provided between the housing and the powder cavity, the water inlet ring groove being in communication with the conical surface water spray channel, the housing further being provided with a water inlet leading to the water inlet ring groove; further comprising a pressure stabilizing gas source, a water tank and a urea tank; the pressure stabilizing gas source being connected with a head pipe, the head pipe having a head valve; the head pipe being connected to the water tank through a water tank intake pipe, and to the urea tank through a urea tank intake pipe respectively, and also connected to the water inlet and the powder inlet through a gas distribution pipe respectively; the gas distribution pipe being provided with a gas distribution valve; the water tank being connected to the water inlet through a water intake pipe, the water intake pipe being provided with a water valve; the urea tank being connected to the powder inlet through a urea powder pipe, the urea powder pipe being provided with a urea powder valve;
and further comprising a signal detection control unit for sending a control signal to the head valve, the gas distribution valve, the water valve, the urea powder valve and the needle valve.
[0004] Further, the urea tank intake pipe is further provided with a drying can.
[0005] Further, the powder cavity is formed by connecting a needle valve base connected to a bottom of a cylindrical partition; the needle valve is mounted on the needle valve base; the water inlet ring groove is formed by the groove on an outer wall of the partition and the housing.
[0006] Further, a needle valve seal ring is provided between the needle valve and the needle valve base, a urea powder seal ring is provided between the needle valve base and the housing, and a water seal ring is provided between the partition and the housing.
[0007] The beneficial effect of the invention is:
1. The urea powder is stored separately from the water to avoid the problem of the deterioration and uneven distribution of the concentration caused by the prolonged storage of the urea solution and also to avoid the problem that the urea solution may deteriorate during the de-icing heating treatment;
2. The injection amount of urea solution is controlled by the injection apparatus, which eliminates the need of a metering pump and simplifies the components of the NOx post-treatment system, thereby saving costs;
3. The high pressure air mixed in the urea powder helps to spray for the atomization effect;
4. As the urea powder injection faces the water and the exhaust injection, the urea powder will first make contact with the water and the high temperature exhaust, thus being conducive to thermal decomposition of urea;
5. Since the actual reaction demand of urea and water is 1: 1, the ratio of urea to water in urea solution currently used at a urea concentration of 32.5% is about 1:
2, the amount of water in latter urea solution is doubled, the present apparatus can spray less water to reduce the effect of reducing the exhaust temperature caused by water evaporation and water heat capacity, so it is conducive to lowering the lower limit of critical operating temperature for the system, can improve conversion efficiency and expand the scope of work.

The needle valve 1 is mounted on the needle valve base 2, and an outer conical surface of the right part of needle valve 1 cooperates with an inner conical surface of powder injection outlet at the right of partition 6 to inject the urea powder.
[0014] The housing 10 is sleeved outside the powder cavity, i.e. is sleeved outside the needle valve base 2 and partition 6, and leaves a conical surface water spray channel 7 with the partition 6 between the outer wall at the powder injection outlet. The outer wall at the right of partition 6 is a conical surface, wherein the inside is smaller than the outside. The inner wall of the opening of the housing 10 at this point is also a conical surface.
The above conical surfaces are parallel, and separated by a certain distance, so as to form a conical surface water spray channel 7.

One part of the gas in the pressure stabilizing gas source 21 enters the water tank 25 via the water tank intake pipe 23 through the head valve 2, while another part enters the drying can 31 for removing the water via the urea tank intake pipe 32 and then into the urea tank 30; the water in the water tank 25 enters the water inlet ring groove 8 via the water pipe 26 and the water valve 27 under the pressure of the gas, and then is injected into the intake pipe via the conical surface water spray channel 7; the urea powder in the urea tank 30 enters the urea powder cavity 4 via the urea powder pipe 29 and the urea powder valve 28 with the aid of gas, and finally is injected into the exhaust pipe through the control needle valve 1 in a fixed amount.
[0022] When the signal detection control unit has detected a ceasing signal for injection, the urea powder valve 28 and the water valve 27 are controlled to be sequentially closed, thereby stopping the injection of urea powder and water.
[0023] When the signal detection control unit has detected a ceasing signal for engine, the head valve 24 is controlled to open, and the gas distribution valve 28 and the water valve 27 are controlled to close, at this time the head valve 22 remains open.
