Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour simuler un saignement en surface, comprenant : - une source de liquide sanguin, en particulier un liquide sanguin synthétique ou un liquide sanguin ayant été retiré d'un corps humain ; un système de pompe relié à la source de liquide sanguin et conçu pour permettre un écoulement régulé dudit liquide sanguin ; un simulateur de plaie comportant une chambre ouverte reliée au système de pompe pour recevoir l'écoulement régulé de liquide sanguin, le simulateur de plaie comprenant un ensemble de plaques interchangeables, chaque plaque ayant une pluralité de trous disposés dans ladite plaque selon un motif spécifique, le motif spécifique étant différente pour chaque plaque de l'ensemble de plaques interchangeables, et chaque plaque étant conçue pour être montée amovible sur le simulateur de plaie afin de fermer la chambre ouverte, de telle sorte que le liquide sanguin s'écoule à l'extérieur de la chambre par les trous de la plaque montée sur le simulateur de plaie. L'invention concerne également des procédés d'utilisation d'un tel dispositif de simulation.
