Abstract

Un procédé permettant dextraire du bitume à partir dun minerai de sables bitumineux altéré est décrit. Il consiste à mélanger le minerai de sables bitumineux altéré avec de leau chauffée et du triphosphate de sodium pour former une boue de sables bitumineux altérée, à ajouter du triphosphate de sodium au minerai de sables bitumineux altéré, à leau chauffée ou à la boue de sables bitumineux altérée, à conditionner la boue de sables bitumineux altérée à une température dau moins 50 °C pour former une boue de sables bitumineux altérée, et à soumettre la boue de sables bitumineux altérée conditionnée à une séparation par gravité à une température dau moins 50 °C pour former un produit de mousse de bitume.
