Abstract
L'invention concerne un point d'appât comportant un boîtier fermé délimitant un volume intérieur, lequel volume intérieur est divisé par une paroi de séparation délimitant une chambre principale et un compartiment réservé aux composants électroniques. Le compartiment réservé aux composants électroniques comporte un module de communication sans fil comprenant un processeur informatique et un émetteur-récepteur. La chambre principale possède un accès unique réservé à un type d'animal nuisible ciblé et une porte d'accès à l'appât. Une plate-forme destinée à accueillir l'appât est située à l'intérieur de la chambre principale, et un capteur de surveillance de l'appât est également situé à l'intérieur de la chambre principale. Le capteur de surveillance de l'appât communique avec le module de communication sans fil.
