Abstract
Ce capteur d'écoulement de matériau destiné à une moissonneuse comprend une chambre acoustique comportant une plaque d'impact et un boîtier, un microphone, une ligne de transmission d'impulsions pneumatiques reliant le boîtier et le microphone, ainsi qu'un module d'électronique, ce capteur étant caractérisé en ce que le boîtier est formé de manière à diriger, dans la ligne de transmission d'impulsions, les ondes sonores créées par le matériau récolté venant frapper la plaque d'impact, en ce que les ondes sonores se déplacent à travers la ligne de transmission d'impulsions pneumatiques et pénètrent dans le microphone, lequel détecte ces ondes sonores et les convertit en un signal électrique qui est une représentation de la puissance sonore dérivée à partir des ondes sonores, lequel signal est à son tour converti en une représentation de la masse de matériau récolté venant frapper le capteur d'écoulement de matériau.
