Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif et un système de simulation d'états normaux et pathologiques de la fonction cardiovasculaire, comprenant un simulateur cardiaque gauche anatomiquement précis pour l'entraînement et l'essai de dispositifs médicaux. Ledit système et ledit dispositif utilisent des chambres sous pression pneumatique pour produire des contractions ventriculaires et auriculaires. Conjointement à l'interaction des valvules synthétiques qui simulent les valvules mitrales et aortiques, le système est conçu pour produire une action de pompage qui produit des fractions de volume précises et des gradients de pression de flux pulsatoire précis, reproduisant ainsi l'action d'un cur humain. L'utilisation d'une unité de régulation et de capteurs permet de réguler automatiquement un ou plusieurs paramètres tels que les débits d'écoulement, la pression fluidique et la fréquence cardiaque, en utilisant des mécanismes à boucle de rétroaction pour ajuster les paramètres du système hydraulique pour simuler divers troubles cardio-vasculaires, y compris une fonction cardiaque normale, des états cardiaques associés à une maladie ou à une lésion graves, un système vasculaire comprimé, comme des artères qui durcissent.
