Abstract
Dans un exemple, un dispositif de codage (par exemple, codage et décodage) de données vidéo comporte une mémoire pour stocker des données d'un train de bits et un codeur vidéo configuré pour : déterminer s'il faut coder un élément de syntaxe de retard d'arrivée initial d'un message SEI (d'informations d'amélioration supplémentaires) de temps d'arrivée initial de partition de trains de bits pour ledit train de bits selon que des paramètres de décodeur de référence hypothétique (HRD) sont codés pour le train de bits ; et, en réponse à la détermination de coder l'élément de syntaxe de retard d'arrivée initial, coder l'élément de syntaxe de retard d'arrivée initial. Le codeur vidéo peut déterminer de coder l'élément de syntaxe de retard d'arrivée initial uniquement lorsqu'un drapeau VclHrdBpPresent pour le train de bits a la valeur « vrai », par exemple, uniquement lorsque des paramètres HRD de la couche de codage vidéo (VCL) sont codés dans le train de bits ou lorsqu'il est déterminé que des opérations HRD VCL sont nécessaires dans le train de bits.
