Secure Me, Working At Heights Sliding/Adjustable Ladder Platform The device will be a sliding as well as an adjustable working platform that can be applied to an Extension, Telescoping and Folding ladders (A-Frame Ladders).
These types of ladders will be constructed to house the "Secure Me Working Platform".
The ladder will have an outside channel that allows the engineered device to slide up and down the entire length of the ladder. The device will be secured in place through a mechanical means preventing it from moving once the desired working height is identified and achieved.
A mechanical man basket with waist height restrictions will close around the worker and will be fastened and secured in place through a mechanical latching device.
The man basket/working platform will be able to adjust the angle to get a horizontal working area.
There will be a tie off rail that allows the worker to tie off their safety harness while working at heights.
This will be a cost effective, time saving device that will eliminate the need for expensive scaffolding construction and removal.
The device can and will be used in heavy industrial, construction, commercial as well as residential applications.
The device will allow workers to safely work at heights with ladders by providing a secure horizontal working area that allows them to make use of both their hands while working away from the ladder, helping to prevent workplace accidents/injuries.
