Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé destiné à retirer un gaz acide d'un courant de gaz naturel, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à : (a) faire passer un courant d'alimentation comprenant du gaz naturel et un gaz acide à travers un côté d'alimentation d'une membrane à une pression d'alimentation (PF) ; (b) faire passer un courant d'absorbant comprenant un fluide absorbant sur un côté absorbant de la membrane, opposé audit côté d'alimentation, la pression dudit courant d'absorbant se trouvant à une pression d'absorbant (PA), pour éliminer le gaz acide dudit courant de gaz naturel ; (c) commander au moins une parmi la pression d'alimentation (PF) et la pression d'absorbant (PA) de sorte que la (PA) soit sensiblement égale ou supérieure à la (PF) sans permettre au fluide absorbant de résider dans les pores de la membrane. La présente invention concerne en outre un système pour exécuter le procédé.
