Abstract
Un réseau offrant une couverture mondiale, modulable jusquà une capacité daccès de centaines de pétabits par seconde, est configuré comme des interrupteurs temporels indépendants dotés de routeurs spectraux reliant les nuds périphériques daccès aux interrupteurs temporels. Les interrupteurs temporels sont préférablement configurés comme des interrupteurs optiques rapides. Chaque nud périphérique daccès comporte un lien à un routeur spectral en amont et un lien dun routeur spectral en aval. Chaque interrupteur est couplé à un contrôleur dinterrupteur respectif et à un indicateur temporel respectif. Chaque contrôleur dinterrupteur entraîne des contrôleurs de bord dun ensemble de nuds périphériques daccès sous-tendants pour permettre la commutation cohérente.
