Abstract

L'invention concerne des procédés et appareils pour produire des supports entaillés, en particulier mais pas exclusivement pour l'utilisation dans les cartons ondulés artistiques, et des articles et compositions fabriqués avec ceux-ci. Lorsqu'au moins un milieu entaillé est utilisé dans un article stratifié ou feuilleté, et en particulier dans le cas d'une utilisation sélective en tant qu'élément de doublure et/ou en tant qu'élément cannelé dans un carton ondulé, qu'il s'agisse d'une partie d'un article en carton ondulé ou d'un produit feuilleté avec au moins un autre élément, l'article possède des qualités mécaniques supérieures à celles obtenues avec un milieu non entaillé. Pour obtenir ces qualités souhaitables, un grand axe des entailles formées dans le milieu entaillé s'étend en biais, et de préférence perpendiculairement à la direction de résistance à la flexion dans un article quelconque ou dans un article dans lequel doit être associé le milieu entaillé.
