Abstract
L'invention concerne des procédés et des compositions pour améliorer la production d'hydrate d'alumine. L'invention met en jeu l'addition d'un ou plusieurs polysaccharides éthylsulfonés réticulés à une liqueur ou une bouillie dans le circuit fluide du procédé de production. Le un ou plusieurs polysaccharides comprennent du dextrane réticulé ou de la dihydroxypropyl cellulose réticulée. Les divers polysaccharides peuvent conférer un nombre d'avantages comprenant au moins certains parmi : une efficacité supérieure de floculation, une augmentation du dosage efficace maximal, une vitesse de décantation plus rapide. Le procédé de production peut être un procédé Bayer.
