Abstract

La présente invention concerne une coque de navire présentant un tablier à angle plat dont le bau s'effile vers la proue et son bau au niveau du tableau représente 15 à 25 % du bau de la coque au niveau de ses cornières de bouchain. La coque est symétrique de part et d'autre de sa ligne médiane, présente une proue à entrée fine, un tableau et une paire de coques à bouchain vif. Entre le tablier à angle et les cornières de bouchain, la coque présente au moins une paire de panneaux généralement plats désignés ici en tant que marches longitudinales présentant approximativement 0 degré d'acculement formant des surfaces trisec situées de manière symétrique de part et d'autre de la ligne médiane de la coque. La coque comprend également au moins une paire de panneaux d'acculement très hauts, extérieurs et adjacents au tablier à angle, situé de manière symétrique de part et d'autre de la ligne médiane de la coque, et s'étendant à partie de là jusqu'aux panneaux de type trisec plats au-dessus. Les panneaux d'acculement très hauts présentent un acculement moyen minimum d'approximativement 50 degrés mesuré le long de leur longueur. Des structures de surface de type trisec plates supplémentaires présentant un acculement d'approximativement 0° peuvent être installées en longueur sur la coque entre le tablier à angle et la coque à bouchain vif de telle sorte que le décalage vertical entre deux surfaces de type trisec le long de la ligne de stagnation de la coque ne dépasse pas approximativement six pouces. Des panneaux d'acculement hauts ou des filets dotés d'angles d'acculement entre environ 20 et 35 degrés peuvent être inclus dans la coque à l'extérieur de et de manière adjacente aux panneaux d'acculement hauts et situés de manière symétrique de part et d'autre de la ligne médiane de la coque. Les filets sont effilés en formes de coins au niveau de leurs extrémités avant pour se fondre dans les panneaux d'acculement très hauts et les panneaux de type trisec plats.
