Abstract
L'invention concerne un élément adiathermique (20), qui est configuré à des fins de mise en oeuvre entre une culasse (11) et une chambre de combustion principale (18) d'un moteur à combustion interne, la chambre de combustion (18) du moteur étant agencée entre une culasse (11) et un piston alternatif (54). L'élément adiathermique (20) est configuré pour réduire le transfert de chaleur depuis la chambre de combustion principale (18) jusque dans la culasse (11) de moteur. L'élément adiathermique (20) est une structure autoportante accouplée à la culasse (11), l'élément adiathermique (20) comprenant une partie (43) orientée vers la culasse correspondant sensiblement en termes de forme à une partie de la culasse (45) orientée vers la chambre de combustion principale (18).
