Abstract

Lors dune transition entre des modes de fonctionnement sur un moteur à deux combustibles, quand le moteur passe dun fonctionnement à un combustible à un fonctionnement avec un autre combustible, le problème consiste à conserver le couple de moteur à lintérieur dune plage prédéterminée. Un procédé amélioré pour faire fonctionner un moteur à combustion interne comprend la sélection entre un mode de fonctionnement à carburant liquide avec un carburant liquide et un mode de deux combustibles avec un carburant liquide et un carburant gazeux; le réglage dun système à air à des points de consigne associés à un des modes à deux combustibles lors dune transition vers le mode à deux combustibles et le mode à carburant liquide lors dune transition vers le mode à carburant liquide, comme une fonction des conditions de fonctionnement du moteur; et le réglage dau moins un parmi la quantité dinjection de carburant liquide et la synchronisation de linjection de carburant liquide en réponse aux changements dans le système à air lors dune transition vers un parmi le mode à deux combustibles et le mode à carburant liquide, comme une fonction des conditions de fonctionnement du moteur.
