Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de production dun produit de bitume de haute qualité dérivé de sables bitumineux. Le processus de production du produit à base de bitume de haute qualité comprend un processus dextraction à deux phases. Dans ce processus en deux phases, un pétrole brut désasphalté de très haute qualité est extrait du sable bitumineux dans une première phase de traitement par solvant. La deuxième phase du processus produit un bitume de haute qualité à partir du sable bitumineux traité au solvant.
