Abstract
This is a dry hand sanitizer that uses filtered 207nm wavelength Kr-Br UV
excimer lamp bulbs. The user runs their hands through the device, which is activated by a laser-motion sensor. The user runs their hands through the device so as to have the UV light bathe the entire hand. The UV light emitted destroys the bacteria present on the hands. A recent study published concluded that a 207nm Kr-Br UV excimer lamp is sufficient enough to destroy drug-resistant bacteria, but is unlikely mutagenic to humans.
The intent is to reduce water consumption and waste (paper towels).

Description A dry hand sanitizer that uses UV excimer lamps to destroy the surface bacteria present on the user's hands. The device uses 207-nm filtered Kr-Br excimer lamp bulbs.
