Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé pour la torréfaction de biomasse sous forme de particules. Le système comprend un réacteur doté de caractéristiques de flux de masse, contenant de la biomasse sous forme de particules et, en outre, est équipé d'une entrée de gaz chauffé ; d'une sortie d'évacuation de gaz ; d'une entrée de solides sous forme de particules ; et d'une évacuation de solides sous forme de particules. Selon l'invention, un procédé de production de biomasse torréfiée consiste à soumettre une biomasse brute sous forme de particules à une température suffisamment élevée pour réaliser la torréfaction de la biomasse. Le procédé comprend l'introduction de biomasse sous forme de particules dans un réacteur de torréfaction doté de caractéristiques de flux de masse et en outre équipé d'une entrée de gaz chauffé ; d'une sortie d'évacuation de gaz ; d'une entrée de solides sous forme de particules ou de moyens d'entrée ; et d'une évacuation de solides sous forme de particules ou de moyens d'évacuation.
