Abstract

Une remorque comprenant un châssis, un ensemble de roues pour supporter de façon roulante le châssis sur le sol et un conteneur rigide porté par le châssis. Le conteneur rigide comprend un plancher, une paroi latérale, une porte daccès pour charger et décharger des matériaux dans le conteneur et un toit rigide convertible. Ce dernier est mobile entre une position fermée, qui permet de comprimer des déchets ou dautres matériaux dans la remorque, et une position ouverte, qui permet de charger la remorque de marchandises en vrac par le haut. Le toit convertible comprend des panneaux rigides mobiles et une barre de verrouillage pour maintenir les panneaux fermés et relier les parois latérales opposées de la remorque les unes aux autres contre la pression dexpansion exercée par les matériaux lâchement compressés transportés dans la remorque. Les panneaux peuvent être des panneaux rotatifs articulés à une paroi, ou peuvent être prévus sous forme de panneaux coulissants coulissant dans des rails.
