Abstract

A multiflame burner with burner nozzles (10-15) which can be loaded with fuel gas, particularly for thermal material processing methods is suggested, in which at least one of the burner nozzles (10-15) is provided with at least one auxiliary nozzle opening (40) for generating an auxiliary flame (80) arranged laterally to a main nozzle arrangement (30) for generating a working flame (60, 70) and in the direction of at least one adjacent burner nozzle (10-15).

Claims (11)

1. A multiflame burner with burner nozzles (10-15) which can be loaded with fuel gas, particularly for thermal material processing methods, characterised in that at least one of the burner nozzles (10-15) is provided with at least one auxiliary nozzle opening (40) for generating an auxiliary flame (80) arranged laterally to a main nozzle arrangement (30) for generating a working flame (60), the orientation of which auxiliary flame has a direction component in the direction of an adjacent burner nozzle (10-15).

The multiflame burner according to Claim 1, characterised in that at least one auxiliary nozzle opening (40) and/or at least one nozzle channel assigned to an auxiliary nozzle opening (40) is arranged at an angle to the main nozzle arrangement (30) and/or a nozzle channel assigned to the main nozzle arrangement (30).
3. The multiflame burner according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that at least one of the burner nozzles (10-15) is provided with auxiliary nozzle openings (40) for generating auxiliary flames (80) in the direction of at least two adjacent burner nozzles (10-15).
4. The multiflame burner according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one of the burner nozzles (10-15) is provided with two, three or a plurality of auxiliary nozzle openings (40) on at least one side of the main nozzle arrangement (30).
5. The multiflame burner according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one of the burner nozzles (10-15) is provided with a plurality of linearly arranged auxiliary nozzle openings (40).
6. The multiflame burner according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one of the burner nozzles (10-15) is set up for igniting (50) an adjacent burner nozzle (10-15) by means of at least one auxiliary flame (80).
7. The multiflame burner according to one of the preceding claims, which is constructed as a handheld burner or machine burner, for example as a performance burner or lance burner, particularly for operation with acetylene as fuel gas.
8. The multiflame burner according to one of the preceding claims, which is set up for igniting at least one burner nozzle (10-15) by means of a manual igniting apparatus, a pilot flame, an ignition plug and/or a piezo igniter.
9. A burner nozzle for multiflame burnersparticularly according to one of Claims 1 to 8,, which can be loaded with fuel gas, particularly for thermal material processing methods, characterised in that at least one auxiliary nozzle opening (40) for generating an auxiliary flame (80) arranged laterally to a main nozzle arrangement (30) for generating a working flame is provided.
10. A thermal material processing method, in which a multiflame burner according to one of Claims 1 to 8 is used, wherein at least one burner nozzle (10-15) is ignited (50) by means of an auxiliary flame (80) of an adjacent burner nozzle (10-15).
11. The thermal material processing method according to Claim 10, which contains at least one flame soldering, fusion, flame hardening, scarfing, preheating, postheating, soaking, drying and/or hot forming step.
