Add-on Fashion Sleeves The present invention pertains to arm apparel and fashion accessories. More particularly, the present invention pertains to sleeves worn on the arms, that are not attached to any other article of clothing, extending from the upper arms to the wrists, made of a stretchable fabric.
Background of the Invention Arm sleeves have numerous applications including providing warmth, hiding imperfections on the arms, and being a fashion statement. It does so without inhibiting movement or covering any other body parts. It is therefore a useful item for women.
Options for covering arms at the moment include long gloves, sweaters, shawls, or the like.
An arm sleeve is therefore a novel fashion accessory, substantially different from what exists on the market right now.
Compression sleeves for arms are known, although primarily as medical devices that are used by individuals, especially athletes, suffering from arm ailments. These compression sleeves are generally unattractive and uncomfortable for individuals that do not require compression.
Thus, what is lacking and needed are novel coverings for the arms that do not cover other body parts or the wearer's outfit and that are comfortable, aesthetically appealing and fashionable.
