Abstract

Il a été établi quun revêtement de protection destiné à être utilisé conjointement avec des panneaux isolants peut être fabriqué (1) en appliquant une composition monomère sur un mat de fibres, dans laquelle le mat de fibres est un mat de fibres non cellulosiques non asphaltiques, et dans laquelle la composition monomère est composée dun monomère et dune charge, dans lesquels le monomère est sélectionné dans le groupe constitué de monomères dacrylate et de monomères de méthacrylate, dans lesquels la composition monomère est dépourvue de photoinitiateurs, dans lesquels la charge est sélectionnée dans le groupe consistant de charges organiques, dargiles, de mica, de talc, de pierre calcaire, de kaolin, de gypse, de silicate daluminium, de trihydrate daluminium ignifugeant, de sulfamate dammonium, doxyde dantimoine, de silicate de calcium, de sulfate de calcium, de borate de zinc et de colemanite, dans lequel la composition monomère consiste essentiellement de solides, (2) en amorçant la polymérisation du monomère à lintérieur de la composition monomère en exposant la composition monomère à un faisceau délectrons, et (3) en permettant au monomère dêtre polymérisé pour produire le revêtement de protection.
