Abstract

Linvention concerne un procédé de traitement de flux de bitume recourant à la filtration sur membrane. Selon un mode de réalisation, la filtration sur membrane remplace le traitement des mousses paraffiniques et une ou plusieurs étapes de la filtration remplacent la cristallisation par densité. Selon un autre mode de réalisation, le flux de bitume est soumis à un traitement par solvant paraffinique à des débits beaucoup plus élevés et un produit « presque propre » est subséquemment filtré par le système de membrane. Dans ce cas, certains contaminants sont retirés par léquipement conventionnel de cristallisation par densité tandis que dautres contaminants sont retirés par la filtration sur membrane. Selon encore un autre mode de réalisation, la filtration sur membrane est appliquée à un flux effluent de produit de bitume après un traitement des mousses naphténiques. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, une filtration sur membrane est appliquée à un flux deffluent de produit de bitume dans le cadre dun processus dextraction à base de solvants. Selon un autre mode de réalisation, la filtration sur membrane est appliquée à un flux deffluent de produit de bitume à partir de lextraction de solvants dans le cadre dun processus dagglomération des solides. Selon un dernier mode de réalisation, la filtration sur membrane est appliquée au bitume produit par drainage par gravité au moyen de vapeur.
